I've been trucking 23 years. I carry a butane gas stove in the bunk of my rig too. #1 best never leave home without item. A carbon monoxide/ smoke detector is a REALLY smart item for anything you sleep in. I've had a electrical fire in the dash of a freightliner, let me tell you.... you have next to no time to get out when a dash starts catching fire. Something to think about...
For sure, the detector is a good idea. The stove makes it nice and easy to get some dinner or something. Dang that sounds like a scary few minutes right there

Hey Noah, you can use Mr. Clean in spray bottle to clean black rubber floors. just spray and wipe with old towel, it'll make them look new. works great on bikes also, just spray and power wash off.

Wrap the pots and pans in old towels it will get rid of the noise
Screw a bit of elastic into the door panel where your t handles are, to retain them for travel :-)
@noahclark32 did you buy the van like that (walls insulated, bench, batteries, garage compartment separator) or did you do all this as a custom build?
Love the vans but dont like how Sprinters have become so overpriced. There are people selling 5 year old Sprinters with over 100k miles for $80k in California. Just crazy.
