Nice launches. I thought that one rocket was going to float away. I saw a video of an Estes Mean Machine that did that. They launched it in way worse weather conditions and it got caught in a thermal and disappeared.
Can I introduce you guys to a chute release?! - to fly higher and land closer. They can be found at pretty much any online rocket store - Apogee Components, Mad Cow, Chris' Rocket Supplies; etc... 🙂 Just don't forget to put pressure holes in the tube...
I didn't use it this time but did twice on the subsequent launch day. I've had one land in the canal and one hang from the field lights for two years. Both times, JL has graciously replaced them. I've been hesitant to use them for fear of wearing out my welcome with JL. th-cam.com/video/VtQIV_v4DCs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LFyYqqKM33SQEzz0
The sky this day was awesome. We get this same sky in the summer here during monsoon season. You’ve spoiled your viewers in past videos by putting the name of the rocket, motor info, score of the flight that’s visible when you pause the video. I see that’s not included on this video. Was that a choice or new editing software?
I submitted an e-NOTAM with the FAA. They called me and said it has to be called an unmanned rocket instead of a model rocket. I swear we had at least 8 fly bys.
That on board drag race footage was incredible!! Best I’ve ever seen…
Mahalo.
Truly awesome stills from that one where the rocket camera captures the other rocket trailing behind it! To paraphrase Keanu Reeves, Woah!

Thanks for watching. Be sure to subscribe if you haven't already.
Lots of launches! Pretty big field you have there. Ever have on land on that elevated rail track?
No not yet.

I'm working on it now. There were about 20 rockets. Thanks for watching.
Done.
@@RonzRocketz Sweet! Time for a rewatch. As if I wasn’t planning to watch multiple times!
Sky is clear, field is clear, rail is . . . oops.
