This last Saturday a different UA 767-300 touched down hard enough at Houston as well that caused wrinkles in the fuselage and is being considered a total loss.
Beautiful shot at 28:24-28:30. I've never flown out of Newark, but I'd like to one day. I think my favorite videos are the ones flying into/out of LAX & EWR, because I love to see the water.
This was my first trip EWR and I was pleasantly surprised. Both in the spotting variety and the airport itself. I've seldom heard much good about EWR, but man it was nice that day! Thanks for watching!
It’s cool to see for sure, but it sucks when you realize many of those flights are probably full of passengers waiting for a gate… I learn from experience, I almost missed my flight after sitting for 45 minutes. Newark is a good airport in terms of amenities for the most part, but if you are on a time crunch, it’s best to avoid it.
@@LegitimateAviation The ones we're talking about here are the ones on hard stands, which are just parking spaces for aircraft that aren't currently in use. So, at least he ones Brennan was referencing are just empty planes. So, no passengers missed their connections in this scenario haha. I hear your point though. I've been in that situation many times at many different airports.
It did haha. I told someone else that you know this was a rough landing, because my videos usually make rough landings look better than they were. If it makes my camera move that much, you know it was a jolt haha.
WOWOWOWOW!! Great views of Downtown Newark!! Good view of I-95 and I-280. Brings back memories of my teen years living in NY in the 1970s. I went over to NJ many times. Looks like you went over the Pulaski Skyway. With the way the aliens in War of the Worlds totally destroyed it, I'm glad it's still standing. :) I've gone thru EWR a few times. When my GF and I went to Halifax, NS in 2006, we connected in EWR to get there.

It was also my first time visiting New Jersey. You'd think someone like me, who flies so much and has been to Singapore, Japan, Guam, Switzerland, France, etc. would have been to all 50 state. Well, I haven't. I have 4 states left to visit. Main, New Hampshire, Vermont, and North Dakota. Perhaps I'll make a trip out of visiting those!
Omg Skylite I was nervous about Den-Sba it was kind of scary there were strong winds and rain but we made it safe it was an extra hour of going in a circle. Also why did people clap after. Oh man. I have to pick my least favorite Airbus? Well that's tough because I really love all Airbus aircraft. Hmmm. Honestly, I'm struggling here haha. I love the A320 series because I fined them to be far more comfortable than 737's. The A220 is a masterpiece. My favorite aircraft of all time is an A340 so I can't put any of those variants on this list. I love flying on A350's, A330's and A380's. And I never had the pleasure of flying on the A300 or A310, so I can't judge them. I guess, if I have to put one down, I'd say the A330-200, just because I always thought it was kind of stubby looking. But that's literally the best I can come up with haha. In truth I love the A330-200. It is the wide body I've flown on the most, mostly thanks to Hawaiian. Now Boeing on the other hand.... It's easy. It's the 737. Any variant. Even though 737's are my most flown aircraft type. That doesn't mean I love them haha. They are cramped, I often find them to get much hotter on the ramp in hot climates than Airbus aircraft, and to be frank, when flights are full and you have three full grown adults in your row... It's not fun. I am always thrilled when I get an open seat next to me, but even more so on a 737. It's an old plane that has been updated, updated, and updated again. It easily is my least favorite Boeing aircraft.
@@LegitimateAviation I actually love the 757. It is one of my favorite aircraft of all time. I'd probably put it second on my all time favorite aircraft behind the A340-600.
@@sla31 To be honest, I've never really liked the Boeing 737 aircraft at all, particularly the 737-Max variant, mostly because of the 2 fatal crashes that resulted in those massive groundings.
@@sla31 I would imagine certain types of large aircraft wouldn’t really benefit from having winglets…and then are the ones that are added…I guess the aircraft would need to have been taken out of service for awhile and maybe even flown to a facility where it could be done. Then there are the winglets that had the added fin below the wing tip.

That would be my right or left hands, depending on the side of the aircraft I'm on haha. I do not use mounts as they cause vibrations to get transferred into the lens of the camera, which IMO ruins the footage.

This trip was actually my first time visiting EWR. I'll be honest, I'd heard a lot of bad stuff about EWR, but I thought it was a nice airport. It sounds like I got the best terminal though.

Noting this is indeed an older aircraft…I am curious if a few of them have the winglets added on long after they first roll out.
Yes, 767’s did not come with winglets originally. Any 767 that has them now, had were added after they rolled off the production line.

A lot of people hate on Newark including myself but Terminal C isnt so bad, i did get stuck there in 2009 for almost 24 hours

This is the one thing I hate about IAH is landing on their farthest runway that feels like it's at least a mile in half away from the terminal.
