    I currently have about 5 preferred shares I hold. Unfortunately finviz doesn't have them!

    Great new tools man , was wondering though , is it possible if I acquire your spreadsheet to change the currency it’s shown in without messing up the rest ? For example for the main currency to be €

    • @Dividendology
      @Dividendology  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Google sheets has currency conversion formulas. I'll have to add that to my next update!

    Could someone also change the currency from USD to EUR or AUD? I’m situated in Germany at the moment and therefore my holdings are in EUR

    Also, what about individual settings for DRIP? Currently, I reinvest 100%, but there are people who take dividend payments from Stock A to purchase more of Stock B. (Which for this particular toolkit, they would simply enter the Stock B purchase just the same as an out of pocket purchase).
    This looks like it's an all or nothing option.

      You just need to update the total amount of shares you own. I'll create a way to track DRIP shares as well soon.

    Hi, On your Patreon page you add updates sometimes right? so If I buy a membership now, how would I add the the updated sheets to my already filled in tracking sheet?

    • @Dividendology
      @Dividendology  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I add updates and other new features! For this sheet you would just need to copy and paste over your data to the new sheet.

    I am currently using your spreadsheet. how do you find the growth of your stocks for your dividend dashboard to see where you will be in 5 10 15 20 and 25 years from now. I currently just do JEPI and SCHD. 50% of each

    A question. How does the Tool Kit get it's data feed, do you have to subscribe to some data feed ?

      I use a few different methods, including using the built in google finance function and web scraping methods.

    Looks nice! Don't you need to have purchase date to have a correct Total Return?

    • @Dividendology
      @Dividendology  ปีที่แล้ว

      if you are wanting to see things like annual return you would need that, but I prefer to just see overall growth.

    I see Finviz has changed their tables once again. The new table is 10 instead of 9. Any idea what the change is when pulling the Industry label

    • @Dividendology
      @Dividendology  ปีที่แล้ว

      new table is 8 for industry I believe!

      @@Dividendology The formula shows two tables listed. Do I change both.

    Is there not a way to pull web data on current annual dividend totals, payout frequency, ex-date, and use the user's share purchase amount and date to automatically calculate and populate the dividend info? That way we don't have to enter new payment dates every time we get paid, and instead it automatically knows how much we qualified for depending on the amount of shares purchased and the aforementioned dividend data?

    • @Dividendology
      @Dividendology  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im creating a method to do this! Stay tuned!

    @ 7:00, the Daily DIv Calendar shows the $30 you added for Appl both on the May 1 area but ALSO on the April 31 area and there is no April 31st. In fact, your mouse pointer went to the false April entry first, but you didn't mention the obvious error. I've seen that before on my copy and had to delete the code from the April cell to remove it. Can't wait for the version that includes 2024!
