This is my favorite G! I own multiple models but this is the watch I wear everyday for Personal Training. I use the vibe alarm all the time! Absolutely beautiful!
It's your daily wear, but it's my nightly wear. I think it's truly a masterpiece of design. I would go so far as to say that it's one of the best designed products I have ever owned. Absolutely every detail and every feature has been thought through extremely well. However, it's a bit big for my personal preference for daily wear. It takes me comfortably through the night and wakes me up every morning.
@TickTockTreasures I own a number of other Casio watches including 2 other G Shocks. They're all good, but this is the only one for which there is literally nothing to complain about. It's hard to put into words just how well designed that thing is.

I'm not sure why, never had that happen on another Casio. - buttons are too smooth and the tactile feedback is not the best. - no repeat for the countdown timer - Led backlight is sufficient but not very well executed. I know this is kind of nitpicking but with a few minor upgrades, the GD 350 could have been an even better watch than it already is.
Picked up the GD350GB-1 black and gold. The only thing I wish is that I could swap the Timer with Stopwatch feature on the Start button. I use the stopwatch more than timer as a nurse.

I agree, a shortcut to the stopwatch makes more sense, especially if you have to change the value of the timer quite often and therefore need to go to the timer setting anyway.
I love this one too. A US store had every 350 watch it carried for half off, including the black and gold Black Friday model. I was telling all my watch folks to get one but I think only one of them listened. I got the model with the half green screen for myself. Great watch. 💪

I can see the benefit of the feature with the stop watch and countdown timer on the lower right button. This could be helpful if someone is working out and has music on. The vibration would alert them when their set is done....
I have a thing for watches that have brilliant negative display and this has a gold tinted layer (hence digits) which adds to its tactical look. I have seen the videos of two-toned ones with positive display- they are cool too

Hi, it's love to watch an Indian review, for Gshok it's really rear.I have 3 Casio watches. Youth Aw 1500 ( special feature 10 years battery life), GD 350 (special feature Vive alarm) & Gshok rangeman Gw 9400- 3, the Extraction movie watch with all necessary 🤔 features (abc + sunrise & sunset with tough solar). But surely I can say, when I wear this one, it's feel absolutely tough & sturdy among them. words like tactical, stealth perfectly goes with this black chunky. Though I know almost all the features of it, still waiting for your next videos. Great going 👍👍

To Toggle between VIB or Flash/Chime just press that metal button (bottom right) If it is set on VIB it will vibrate every hour and if it is set to flash it will Chime and Flash every hour.
I would say the timer issue from the home screen (not being able to turn it off) is a deliberate built in design. If you are using it on your super secret mission it would be important not to "accidentally" stop the timer and ruin the mission! Nice review! Oh yeah, I just purchased this and heard it is being discontinued!
You are right. I didn't think of that because most times I use timer only while cooking or holding a plank at the gym haha I hope they don't discontinue this one 🤪
Great watch that. I love G Shocks with wrist wings. I added bullbars and a solid link engineers bracelet with Jays and Kays adapters. I was even able to keep the wings.
It sure is a brilliant watch. It sits comfy on the wrist because of those wings unless you have a larger wrist circumference because it doesn't go around the edges of the forearm. I will try a different band myself. I will look up the one you have. Thank you 😊
I am guessing but, I bet the F-91 will work for 99.99% of all the things you need it to. If you are in and out of the water, a 5 or 10 bar might be worth it. The G-Shock standard DW-5600 is functional overkill. I love all my G-Shocks but I think I'll get an F-91 to test my theory.
Yes but there are a few situations that only a G-shock like this helps me. For example, when I ride my motorcycle at night only a watch with good light and Autolight (tilt to light up) can come in handy for me. Another feature is the vibration alert at the top of the hour. But F-91W is still a legend

i need to know when you activate the backlight and push any button does the light turn off?..for example can i set an alarm in the dark or set the timer?.
Unfortunately, you can't. No watches do that... that I know of. Even if you set the light to stay on for 5 secs, the moment you press another button the light goes off and doesn't wait for the full 5 secs. I just tested it.
If you turn on the Mute funcion in the watch settings the light stay on when you press any button you can scroll thru the mode's and set the alarm and timer in the dark but the only negative side you must press the light button every 5sec

Casio. Synonymous to God Tier Watch Brand. The only reason I find GD 350 after Classic Square Tough Solar worthy is because it offers the most legible negative display Casio has to offer under 10k INR. The Vibe Alarm alongwith further makes it a one hell of a Stealth Watch for all field missions straightaway. A highly recommended timepiece without any doubts. Great review my friend. 👊🔥
Bro I'm confused between the 5600UE and the GD-350. I doo like chunky watches and a tough solar on my watch to be tension free, but the GD-350 doesn't have a tough solar version and I have already ordered the 5600UE but that watch is a complete work horse which I genuinely need except for the size of 5600UE I have nothing to complain about, but I haven't seen it in person on wrist so what do you think the size of gd350 or the tough solar which one should I go with?
GD-350 is chunkier than 5600. People who dislike 350 initially, eventually treat it as their daily beater because it's more practical with larger buttons, dedicated timer button, deep set crystal, front light button, vibration alert I have both but if you had to choose then go for GD-350. When you run out of battery in about 5 years, you can always have it replaced. No biggie
This or GD400 “Bull” ? How’s the legibility of negative display ? 400 is available for 4.9K and 350 is available for 5.9 K. (I’ve a 400 in my hand and a step away from returning it in favor of 350 ! )
Both have similar crispness with their negative display - top quality, but I will still go for the 350 for the vibration feature for the hourly chime and alarms

I guess the vibration feature is not for all but like many others who have reviewed the 350 I find it particularly useful - it doesn't bother anyone with the hourly beep as only you will be reminded at the top of the hour with vibration and you can set Alarm and go to sleep without having to wake up the whole Street at 5 am in the morning 😁😁
@@TickTockTreasures Yes looks .. 400 looks a kind of distinct because of gold toned ‘bull bar’, gold toned accents, gold ‘tinted’ & positive display. I’ll certainly get “Cool watch” comment, but not with a “bro” since I’m in “uncle” territory ! Also, I rely on “Alexa, set alarm at 6 AM” or “Siri, set Alaram at 5 AM” for alarms, so not having a vibration feature isn’t a deal breaker.
The GD-350 is my second choice for a trip to hell and back. My first choice however remains the G-7900 olive drab. Both have a lot of strengts and only a few weaknesses and both will probably survive even a nuclear blast but the substantial feeling of the G-7900 is just a tad better. Good video btw, I enjoined watching it :-)
@@TickTockTreasures What do you mean by sensor? The G-7900 doesn't have any sensors, I presume you talk about ABC functions? In this case I swear on the Garmin Instinct. I've tried a few Pro Treks in my life but always found their ABC functions too imprecise (especially the altimeter) and not convincing. The Garmin is a whole different ball game though.

GD-350 has more features such as 5 alarms including a Snooze Alarm (I go to bed wearing this watch on most nights and if wakes me up with vibration alarm), it also has a dedicated countdown timer. DW-5600 is basic without Tough solar. Tough solar is G-5600 which will last 15-20 years but doesn't have features like the GD-350. It's your call as to what you want. With the 350 you can alwways change the battery in 3-5 years. Not a problem at all

It's a very cool watch, but unfortunately it's too small for me. Even my smallest watch is bigger than this. If it was bigger, it would look much better. Of course, it's perfect for those with thin arms.
I can see that the buttons are much better than the handicapped buttons of the square G-Shock! The watch is too big , and chunky. If you are not military, police or fire fighter, people will think that you are just not grown up kid.

I guess the vibration feature is not for all but like many others who have reviewed the 350 I find it particularly useful - it doesn't bother anyone with the hourly beep as only you will be reminded at the top of the hour with vibration and you can set Alarm and go to sleep without having to wake up the whole Street at 5 am in the morning 😁😁
@@TickTockTreasures Yes looks .. 400 looks a kind of distinct because of gold toned ‘bull bar’, gold toned accents, gold ‘tinted’ & positive display. I’ll certainly get “Cool watch” comment, but not with a “bro” since I’m in “uncle” territory !
Also, I rely on “Alexa, set alarm at 6 AM” or “Siri, set Alaram at 5 AM” for alarms, so not having a vibration feature isn’t a deal breaker.

The GD-350 is my second choice for a trip to hell and back. My first choice however remains the G-7900 olive drab. Both have a lot of strengts and only a few weaknesses and both will probably survive even a nuclear blast but the substantial feeling of the G-7900 is just a tad better. Good video btw, I enjoined watching it :-)

@@TickTockTreasures What do you mean by sensor? The G-7900 doesn't have any sensors, I presume you talk about ABC functions? In this case I swear on the Garmin Instinct. I've tried a few Pro Treks in my life but always found their ABC functions too imprecise (especially the altimeter) and not convincing. The Garmin is a whole different ball game though.

It's dedicated to countdown timer. You can start the timer right from the time-keeping mode

Yes it can. But only every hour at the top of the hour. You can set the chime to chime with flash or just vibration

@@sn7123 Yes you can. I have mine set to vibrate every hour. Here's what you do-
Press and hold top left button, then press the bottom left button 11 times till you see VIB or Flash. To Toggle between VIB or Flash/Chime just press that metal button (bottom right)
If it is set on VIB it will vibrate every hour and if it is set to flash it will Chime and Flash every hour.

Maybe yours was a imported timepiece or they switched just the caseback from an imported one or it's new, old stock

GD-350 has more features such as 5 alarms including a Snooze Alarm (I go to bed wearing this watch on most nights and if wakes me up with vibration alarm), it also has a dedicated countdown timer.
DW-5600 is basic without Tough solar. Tough solar is G-5600 which will last 15-20 years but doesn't have features like the GD-350. It's your call as to what you want. With the 350 you can alwways change the battery in 3-5 years. Not a problem at all

Received my gd 350 today. Packaging was totally damaged. Watch back light seems to be very dull as compared to the videos of the watch on youtube. Registered my product on the casio india website. Registration is subject to successful verification. Not yet successfully verified. Watching your video to check the authenticity of the watch.

The watch is too big , and chunky. If you are not military, police or fire fighter, people will think that you are just not grown up kid.
