  • Today we climbed Germany’s famous Felsenmeer! Located near the town of Reichenbach, this long valley is filled with gigantic blocks of stone which were once used by the Romans to carve columns and works of art. This natural display of stone is often referred to as, “seas of rocks.” We loved hiking around the area and highly recommend visiting.

I was there in 1997 and did quite a bit of looking around. We found huge pillars in the woods that the Romans must have created as well as the huge stones. Beautiful and interesting place. TFS
