I love your channel. I recently bought a kayak and went on my first ever kayak fishing trip. I’m an avid fisherman, but always from the shore. The kayak made it feel like I was fishing for the first time. It’s like entering a new world on that kayak.
It's actually beneficial to use a bigger bait. The smaller predatory fish that tend to steal bait usually won't hit on something big. I use big bait to steer the yellow bellies away here in Ohio.

Catfish Dave and a cpl others are getting big ones off the Tennessee River, and I got a nice one the other day too where I fish at...so I'd say there definetly coming out of the beds, especially the big ones...my tactic is going to be giving them a cpl choices of bait, cut and a live bait. Yooo when u do that ha ha ha laugh imma drink....awesome fishin...I got a kayak but I dont like paddling so I got this 12 foot plastic boat with 4 horse and a front mount trolling motor and just moved to the Chester river...we been getting bigger and bigger blue cats over the years...I'm hoping one day they're the size as the Tennessee river..

The eyes on your ugly stik look thicker than the ones at Walmart. The catdiah 7ft model there has one double supported eye at the bottom the rest are thin singles with the end also being double maybe? Nothing like the huge stainless steel ones on other rods. So my question is did you switch them out or is it not the same model?
So does he ever eat fish? I’m just saying because if he don’t he is sure missing out on some good eating. It’s nice from time to time to have some fish out your local lake in my opinion! If he does eat meat it would be cool to see him do a fish, clean, cook video

I'll use frozen shad and actually do ok with it. Fresh is still better though. Shad around here is like skipjack is to you. Catfish candy. We don't have skipjack ☹️
