Long time listener - first time caller. 😀. Thanks for sharing your videos. Very motivating and good tips. I live out in West Boca and want to start doing more bass fishing. Got a bike rack with two rod holders. I’m right on the edge of the Everglades. Want to hit that area and some of the small lakes around. Also, you’ve got me jazzed about hobie lynx. Can’t stop watching TH-cam videos about the lynx. Question- why didn’t you use the Linx on this trip?

Thanks for watching. Yeah I grew up in the northeast - they don't grow bass this big up there. And yes the lynx is awesome. This lake is pretty small and I figured most of the bass would be near the edges so figured I'd walk it. Good luck out there.

Nice outing! I’ve been flyfishing and I’m lucky if I can get one or two every two or three trips. I really like your pitching technique. I think I am scaring fish away with my fly cast. I’m gonna try a bow and arrow cast to see what happens.
are you wearing boots or are those lightweight waders?

Thx. I had boots and waders with me. Too hot mid day for the waders but I put them on early and late. But note - i felt I was def spooking the fish that were near the reeds with the waders. Did much better pitching from the Shoreline without wading in. Tight lines.
