As a Bangladeshi, I am deeply disappointed by the one-sided portrayal in this drama. The depiction of Bengalis as villains and the omission of the Pakistani government's actions in 1971 is both inaccurate and offensive. It's important to represent historical events fairly and respectfully, acknowledging the complexities and suffering of all sides involved. Such biased storytelling only fosters misunderstanding and division. I hope future productions will strive for a more balanced and truthful representation of history.

But he's portrayed differently here.. it seems as if he's trying to split Pakistan and Bangladesh but the actual truth is history is written on many Bangalee's blood and they just white washed the fact in drama....the role he is playing as rumi was the one who pretested against the barbaric mascara going on that time and the first shot was perfect how the captain was pressured to not speak at all even though he was sensing that something wrong is going on.😢

@@Ytube181 First of all at 1952 Pakistani govt. decided to snatch our mother tongue from us..Then we protested to talk in our mother language and Pakistani army shot on the protest on 21st February, 1952(Now the day is celebrated as international mother language day as no other country in this world sacrificed their lives just to talk in their mother tongue),,In job sector,in educational sector everywhere Bengali people were deprived.. On 25th march,1971 Pakistani Army indiscriminately killed thousands of Bangladeshi all on a sudden.. Bangladeshi people didn't even sense such heinous barbaric massacre .. On that night their main target was police forces, arm forces,educated people,students and whoever they saw in front of them..When Bengali got to know that Pakistani Army actually started a war,it took time for us to fight back as we didn't have any such preparations.. Then finally we fought back and achieved our independence.. During war,Pakistani army killed 3 million people,raped millions of women and esp. killed selectively all the Bangladeshi intellectuals including Doctors,Engineers, Teachers, Journalists etc. so that Bangladeshis can never stand intellectually & economically..Whereas we still mourn for our millions of martyrs and the women who lost their honour, you guys are making dramas based on fake stories.. You never know what Bangladeshi people lost in 1971 just because of your barbaric,nasty and bastard activity.. And last of all,after independence the then Pakistani PM told Bangladesh a bottomless basket but now see the irony of fate..When we are celebrating the Golden Jubilee of our independence Pakistan went bankruptcy

As a Bangladeshi I loved the bangla pronunciation of Wahaj, it was so good 🇧🇩.. if I enjoy it as a regular drama then I must say the performance of the actors was commendable here.. but the way they tried to portray our liberation war, that’s kinda one sighted.. East Pakistan had to suffer rigorously for a long time.. Liberation war was our long awaited release from many more injustices..Apart from my countries personal issue, I’m a great fan of Wahaj 💚🇧🇩
OMG!! what a fantastic drama 😍 d first episode itself has me floored, we have always read, heard & seen one side of d story of Bangladesh liberation but this is brilliant ❤ brings alive a totally different perspective, hats off to d story writer & all for this amazing drama ❤❤❤

He belonged to a very rich family,,He had the chance of studying America in September but he didn’t go and joined Gerila bahini and died on 4th September,,,This is so true.....His mother was a famous writer named Jahanara Imam she conformed it in her book....we are so proud for Rumi

I am so touched to see this drama on East Pakistan tragedy. It brought back tearful memories when I was in Chittagong and fled for Pakistan with my family. It took 50 years to speak up by our media what happened not only during that period but even after. We lost many of our friends, and some women were raped. We were the lucky ones to survived even though living in front of two big Chittagong hill mountains, the night when massacre happened and we ran to roofs to either survive or jump from there to save our honors. I was so young but remembers all tearful episodes....😥

@@yusraazeem7754 I was born in East Pakistan and my one brother and sister too whereas my other siblings and parents were from West Pakistan. For my mother it was 3rd migration, first from India, then from West Pakistan and then back to West Pakistan. My father was living in East Pakistan for a long time as he held very important position in a multinational company. I was very young when we migrated in 1971, my father came to West Pakistan a month before fall of Dacca. We were living in Chittagong right in front of the Chittagong hills where massacre took place. Though we were among the lucky ones who survived but running for life from 1970-71 was an everyday ordeal till our flight for Pakistan when we were held back for interrogation for 3 hours. Some of our family friends got killed while running, one woman (mother of 4 children) got raped by EPR (East Pakistan Regiment). Her children were saved by their servants by hiding them in kitchen cupboards. Every 2nd or 3rd day EPR used to come to our house at night time, harassing my father. We used to hide either under beds or which ever place we could find.

This is emotionally intense. In history, muslims have always been defeated by their enemies by dividing them through nationalism and hatred. The traitors gave huge loss. It’s an extremely powerful play giving an amazing depiction of 1971 crises and giving a balanced view of both sides and We can see human emotions on both sides…. I salute armed forces of Pakistan and loyal to the state, patriotic Bengali people who suffered equally well along with Bihari Urdu speaking community, and West Pakistanis. Brilliant piece of artwork.

One sided story to twist the narratives…..pakistani army carried out one of the largest genocide and killed millions of bengali people and raped lakhs of bengali women and blamed it on others.. as a bengali myself it hurts to see how the army is being portrayed innocent….

Yet I didn't even know Jo Bichar Gaye was starting today, they did maybe 2 promos for it. SO disappointing, especially when the topic is so new and interesting, and the actors spent so much time and effort on it.

My parents are Bangladeshi, so I’m here to watch how Bangladesh got independence. I never lived there but visited, I grew up with Pakistanis and Indians in Canada. So I have lots of love for all people ❤ wish there were no hate only love, I believe we separated due to unfair treatment. My uncles and grandparents were in the war , two passed.
My mom was only 8 years ol, she told me how the country was under so much terror, killing random ppl, taking away women from home. Really scary moments, but I do think normal Pakistani people are really nice.

This drama truly stands out compared to the stunning array of Pak dramas televised/ playing currently. Excellent screenplay, cinematography & direction. As much as it's painful for a lot of people to revisit this part of history, it is just as intriguing to watch & understand from this perspective as well.

He is amazing but can't we appreciate someone without comparing..that too does not make any logic...wahaj's character is not that usual character..he had to change his accent,body language,dressing each and everything and he has outshined everyone

this drama would be excellent only if they had shown "The Truth". There are many pakistani channel who actually shows the actual truth of 1971 war, many videos , many interviews. Pakistan still keep misleading qnd make there people fool. Such a shame . I'll not suggest any video by bangladeshi but I will suggest u druve rathee's analysis video on this topic to know the truth.

As far as acting is concerned, the young captain and the beard man who was seen in first scene of dhaka university did the best.

I am from Bangladesh and aware of excellence of Pakistani Dramas. I am watching the first episode. I was in grade 8th. In 1971 we fled from our house in Dhaka and stay whole 9month in village for Safety. It is too early for me to comment on historical aspects depicted in this episode.

did an excellent jjob and total justice to their characters, be it Maya, Wahaj, Farukh and all other army characters, You can see the desperation
in their eyes off saving their land with no fear from embracing shadath but yet so helpless. Before watching this serial I had no idea / information
of this part of our history but now I can feel the pain, the never ending bvlack nightsm the sacrifices and much more. Great work from the whole team!

How can someone watch this Drama and not write about it. Got to watch something soul satisfying in Pakistani Drama industry after soooo long. Haissam Hussain shouldn't stop making Dramas. And Talha has left me in awe by his acting skills. Masha Allah. Maya, Nadia, Wahaj and every other person has done justice to the characters.

From what i have seen so far, this is best opening episode of my any watched drama so far. The acting of legends Wahaj Ali and Maya Ali is indeed going to be amazing, but the wonderful emerging actor Talha Chahour is going to create history here. The dialogue " I know you will steal the show" from Talha has been put forward with utmost purity and when it's coupled with the lullabying music, one indeed wonders the excellence of this whole project.
