Well J Nightmares you have a great reading/narration style and voice. First time I’ve heard you! Thanks Let’s Read these were definitely creepy but also scary encounters! Geez that poor kid with that horrible old man ! Geez I thought he was going to get poisoned by the candy. Thanks so much! Glad I had time to listen on time for once!🤫
Not gonna lie, that last story really pissed me off 😅 a woman's family is out there wondering what happened to their daughter/sister/wife/mother/etc. but you're too worried about how your little "prank" might ruin YOUR life?? Literally said "it plays on my mind so often though...not because I feel some tremendous sense of guilt or anything, but because it could be the end of ME…" That's just monstrous in my opinion.
In he last story, the author can tell themselves whatever they need to tell themselves in order to not feel guilty but knowing right and wrong, they will feel convicted - They put a sign up, giving someone the idea to do themselves in (who knows what someone is going through, struggling with) and the means to do it with (noose), they leave it there for a month, and then seem shocked to discover that someone took them up on the offer and use of the noose. They choose to leave the body and not say anything - *for two years!* Anyone who can tell themselves that they're completely innocent and believe it is delusional. The lady should have a decent burial but that doesn't seem likely. (Assuming it's not made up, which is possible - I'm actually hoping it is.) Let's Read never disappoints, always great stories - thank you; it helps me get through my housework.😊
A lot of these things does happen, just people turn a blind eye to it the world is full of people like this people just don't know the 1000s of crimes that happen just about the huge crimes or the crimes the police care enough to do, most police doesn't even mention most of the crimes that happens.
The father who left or was taken because of his debts has to be one of the top most horrifying stories I’ve heard on your channel. The other being how someone found out that they are schizophrenic.
@@allmyducksinarow I wish I could remember, but it was could have been 100+ videos ago. There may have been two separate stories. It sounded so scary and confusing.

Woman goes hiking sees this creepy man who was standing in the exact same spot as murder, neglects to mention anything to law enforcement. even if it turns out to be irreverent not helpful it could help solve the case and get justice for the victim and their family.
The other guy doesn’t report a hamging body not giving a f* about the women’s family because people can think ill of him. People don’t stop seeing a child in a carcrash. Girl doesn’t report a stalker because she wouldn’t be taken seriously. Child doesn’t tell her mom she’s scared of a neighbour with a knife. Japan doesn’t seem like a nicest place to live, I’ll admit ;)

I feel the last story is most haunting. Welcome to Japan. I thought that part of the story would shock people but it is a very much "mind your own business" society. My first year living here I heard a women screaming at 1am for help. I ran out with barely any clothes on imagining someone being dragged away but thankfully it was just a drunk woman upset that her friends were fighting. Anyway, what I learnt that day is that not one other person left their house and you might think at that time of night they were just sleeping and missed it but I heard from the police the next day that over 20 people had called them about it to report loud noises lol. If you ever take the train in Tokyo and suddenly everyone is looking left, you know something bad is happening to the right lol. It is surreal and a sad fact but that is life.
@@thejapanexperience6317 No kidding, I've heard so many times about women and girls being molested on crowded trains, making it known that it's happening, and either being completely ignored or stared at with a look like "How dare you make such a disturbance", and then either being too embarrassed to tell anyone or being scolded if they do because no one wants to hear about such things. Even the police in Japan will often keep up the MYOB mindset and turn a blind eye to all kinds of thing, especially if the yakuza is involved in some way. The only reason they seem to have almost no crime in Japan is because it's often ignored or actively covered up, and their 100% conviction rate is thanks to their messed-up legal system that only publicizes trials for people they're certain they can pin a guilty verdict on.

I mean I get being irritated by the facts, but like I said, is his daddy's land, his apartments and he can do with him what he wishes. Plain and simple.
Not 100%, but it could be a mistranslation. Japan has a lot of places they call mansions where a bunch of apartments are owned by a company but they have someone that maintains it. That person can be seen as a landlord even though they don't own the building. It would explain why his neighbour would think no one was living there for a long time rather than "the landlords son lives there"

Cue dark edgy music with deep voice. That last story....allegedly Paul was in cahoots with him. One sets the trap one waits to discover the fruit that it will bear.
Little off topic, but am I justified being angry that my boss's son does less than half the work of anybody else but yet we are all being told to hurry as "the team is slow as a whole"? He's slow, late back from breaks, takes about 10 extended toilet breaks a day and occasionally just wanders off.
