It's great to see that the temple authorities have chosen to preserve the temple in its traditional form. In my hometown, some individuals responsible for temple upkeep decided to construct a shelter over the entire temple. Unfortunately, this had a negative impact on the temple's sacred appearance. When I was younger, I used to be captivated by the temple's appearance from a distance. However, the new shelter has transformed it into something that resembles a workshop.
The caretakers' reasoning behind this decision was that the shelter would provide protection to devotees from the harsh sun or rain while they come to worship. However, it's important to note that temples across India were originally constructed in accordance with specific traditions, and altering their appearance by adding such shelters may not align with those traditions.
This situation is not unique; there have been several instances in my area where temples underwent similar changes with the addition of shelters. Hopefully, the caretakers of this particular temple will choose to preserve its traditional appearance.

The abode of Buddhist monks converted to mahadevar temple and the abode of Buddhist bikkuni has converted to mahadevi temples and connected to Parasurama. Parasurama's lifeline mentions at the time ram's era. Buddhism has formed about 600 and 500 bc. Then how can you connect the Kerala temples with Parasurama.

😂😂 the idea of shiv linga came before bhudhas forefathers birth. Bhuddist converted many temples into monasteries Nd kings retained such monasteries back. So you are right monasteries were converted ( back) into temple.

In between the development of sanaatan dharn the Jainism and Buddhism started to develop. As per history, there are different opinions, the Lord Buddha's life time there were not any temples existed. Only the sacrificing sites (yagjna shala) were there, the varanasi(kasi in pali language) and some places in modern day pakistan, multan early known as "moolastan" and some places. So called Hinduism and modern day rituals are started after the decline of the pala dynasty. Till then there were only the rituals with veda mantras (homam) in homakund. There is not much time to copy all Buddhist, Jain and ancient histories here. So the conclusion is the temple concept started after collapse of pala dynasty and we have to stay in modern day meerut city and it's surrounding area to understand the story of Kerala nampootiries migration to "canera". All the Kerala temples are established by these migrated tyagi brahmins from meerut and surroundings. So pls do not try to connect all temples with Parasurama. It is only hear sayings.

Kerala capital is proposes to be changed from trivandrum to central Kerala. I strongly recommend to change the capital to Peruvanam Gramam with historical link with Parasurama, the Avthar of Mahavishnu after the Avtar of Vamana who stopped Rakshasa rule by sending Mahabali to Pathala loka. Thiruvonam is linked with Vamana Avthar of Mahaviahnu.
Now peruvanam & surroundings are peaceful & treated as holy. If capital changed to Peruvanam think what happens.
