Your form looks consistent. What I do every time I shoot is, I slow down my shots and concentrate on nothing but form. I like your”fluid” shots. Consistency will be more successful than Instagram form. Ha
If I was only hunting with my bow, I would consider this path too. It’s fun and very accurate at short range. But I’m shooting 3D tournaments all summer, and I would like to keep winning, lol. Good shooting btw
I absolutely struggle with the exact same thing. Switched back and forth and settled on instinctive under 20 and aiming on longer shots. Still have target panic, still not happy with my shooting. But don’t seem to have target panic on deer and I hunt close. So keep the woodsmanship high, and have fun enjoying the sport.
I find that the lower wrist grip of my longbow hurts my bow arm elbow more than the higher wrist grip of my recurve. Does that make sense? I find that I shoot my recurve better than my longbow too. Same draw weight on both bows.
I shoot the same way. I have tried that hold on anchor and back tension, doesn’t work for me. Shoot what makes you comfortable and enjoy. I tried the back tension again today, shot five arrows. Looked like i shot them with a shotgun. Love that target panic. Good luck buddy.

I really appreciate these videos and your honesty about your progress as well as the challenges.
I release the second I feel my back tension

You’re doing great instinctive. Just a tip stay out of your head.
Gonna try to remember that one! Think of nothing but the spot!
Stay out of my head. That’s the toughest part lol!
Do you have any of the shirts for sale
@@williamswanson6396 I used to lol. Nobody was buying them so I stopped promoting them
Stop shooting the 52# bow. You are asking for a serious problem that will keep you from shooting at all.
I downvoted prior to hearing the this really hurts part so yeah don't do that or you might be out at hunting season.
