Here's my tutorial of sorts on How to do Finger Wave Curls or Waves on Doll Hair and my Ever After High Lizzie Hearts Makeover and Restyle.

Lizzie looks a million times better! She looks so accurate to her cartoon version. Sadly, I still don't have Lizzie Hearts, but I will totally try this on her once I get my hands on her. Lol! Speaking of hands, can't wait to see her hand repaint tutorial! I didn't even noticed the difference between her doll hands and webisode hands. You really have a good eye sight Disney Boy! I know!!! I just got them too! I heard from a friend that her hair does get POOFY, so I just tried not to touch it very much. I just put it up in a bun and left it. It would be great if it could be flowing free like in the pictures, though. :)
Noelle Hill Yeah! I actually decided to braid her hair and leave it over-night. Once I woke up I pulled out the rubber band and it was pretty wavy. But boil washing it might be a good idea because of how POOFY it is. lol.

If you get perm end papers (the little papers used to roll your hair when you give yourself a perm)...these work GREAT when trying to wrap the very ends of the doll hair on the straw and keep the ends smooth. Trim to size aif needed. I prefer the foam end "papers" for wrapping my own hair because they don't slip off and make it easier to wrap and unwrap. I have not tried it for doll hair yet just because there were none in the store when I went after them.
You did a fantastic job on this doll. So you maybe don't need the end papers. I only mention because I have a hard time getting those ends tucked and coming out smooth.

When you were curling the bottom layer of Lizzie at first when you said,"If you have any excess then you can just cut it of." at first I thought you meant the hair and I was like :O. An then you sniped off the straw! And then I realized you meant the straw! XD Lol

I straw curled my bratz's doll hair and stuck it boiling water. I waited for a few days and took the straws out. the curls didn't stick!!! what did I do wrong?
