This cappela cover is part of the recording of the official video that you have already commented on a while ago.
Anyway, I tell you that it is a poem by the mystical and Spanish poet San Juan de la Cruz who in 1748 was imprisoned by the friars of his convent in a dark cell without paper or pen. He composed this poem and learned it by heart so that he could write it later. He speaks of the darkness that surrounds him and the fungus that is Christ that illuminates him and gives meaning to life, of the inaccessible and enlightening that his presence is and that this source never runs out or dries up.
In 1996 another singer (Enrique Morente) turned it into this song.
It is a very sentimental and mystical poem and one of the great works of Spanish literature of more than 400 years ago.
Rosalia, demonstrates the musical culture that she possesses and the hard and demanding vocal preparation that she always demonstrates.
Thank you for showing so much love for the culture of Spain.
