- This is the process I used to replace carburetor on Husqvarna PW3200 pressure washer.
One of the worst things we could do is give up.
DON'T EVER GIVE UP
Keep trying until you get it done.

Sir I don’t think age matters. Just knowledge. I never was taught any mechanics my dad wasn’t around, so learning from what I can. Then I came across your channel!!! Thank you! ❤❤❤.
@@SycarioDeDios luckily for me I had an uncle who was a auto mechanic, he shared lot's of knowledge with me.
This video was perfect. Followed it on my carb everything exactly where you said thanks
@@DavidWhinnie awesome, I appreciate you commenting and watching the video.
Great video - so well done - I just bought one. I am just a few months of 80, but still strong The only thing I would say, even though you gave carb model number, don't cover QR code in videos - great tool to buy exact replacement.
@@rscott7706 thank you for that advice on QR codes. Will try to remember that.
@@LazyGrandpasGarage I almost hated to mention it, your videos are spot on!!🤟
Great job - you helped me tremendously (I'm another old guy over 60) I liked that you explained & showed everything clearly. BTW you are 27 1/2 twice - it sounds better
Glad it was of help. As for the age, I wear 55 better.
Thanks for a great video. I have the same engine with the same exact problem. Problem solved.
Thanks for this video. Do you have one that shows how to fix/troubleshoot the same carburetor - rather than replace?
I'm 67 years old, real new to DIY
I have a log splitter with the same motor - with 2 hours service from new - that will not stay running. The vendor believes the carb is being starved for gas - it only runs for at most 30 seconds. Apparently there could be a problem with a floater.
@@Wicka1957 sorry I do not, if I remember correctly there was a rea close comparison in price for rebuild kit and new carburetor.
Easy video to help a diy guy out
Thanks, I try to be helpful.
the spring you remove at 3:15 ..... does the opposing hook on the gas tank side supposed to hook back to anything? Thanks
I have brand new log splitter with the CR 950 engine ran fine when I first got it, but 4 months later I have to use starter fluid to get it start and will only run with it fully choked. Will change out fuel and may check a few thing in the carburetor?
@@robertmassmann228 sounds like debris got inside carburetor and clogged jet. If it runs on choke, would mean it's getting more air than fuel. If base gasket not leaking air in, then carburetor clogged.
Thank you! I have a question, is it possible to disassemble the carburetor and clean it instead of replacing it with a new one?
@@zhengyunli800 you could try, however I like I mentioned the rebuild kit costs more than a new OEM carburetor.
The new carburetor has an extra screw on the side. At 5:25 you can see the screw on the right of new carb, but not on the old.
Only screw I see is idle adjustment, which I see on both.
Extra screw is to d 9:22 rain water or messed up gas without taking bowl off . I think it's better to take bowl off if engine doesn't start to check for some trash in bowl .
Why are small engine carburetors having problems - is it the ethanol? I don't remember so many failing years ago
Yes majority of carburetor repairs I do have to do with ethanol. Regular unleaded didn't cause these problems.
I used non-ethanol gas and never have issues with my own equipment. Cost roughly dollar more per gallon though.
Take the old carburetor apart and show us what was wrong with it. That would make the video much better.
@@MrReycuda needle went bad, so gas leaked into engine. Needle cost as much as new carburetor.
I originally diagnosed the issue late summer, swapped carburetor in spring for neighbor.
Hi from Kentucky talking about age I’m 69
First time I was in Kentucky I fell in love with the state.
While I was towing, I was sent to Chattanooga TN. I couldn't believe how beautiful Kentucky is. That was in 1999 or 2000.
69? That's still young yet old enough to have plenty of wisdom.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting, have a great day.
the spring you remove at 3:15 ..... does the opposing hook on the gas tank side supposed to hook back to anything? Thanks
I totally missed that, thanks for noticing. Yes it hooks to the governor also.
I better wobble to my neighbors and fix it
Thanks again.
