Yes society has a way of making those who think differently or long for something more than material belongings or riches feel like something is wrong with them. Nothing could be further from the truth. If your actions, generally speaking, aren't toxic toward society or yourself. You are just fine. Not everyone wants their lives to consist of what culture attempts to shove down their throats and that's A OK. If you're generally a decent human being you're doing just fine. This is YOUR life live it in a way that feels correct for YOU. Seek your truth.

Amazing. The last 2-3 minutes are the best part. It's true. To release from Karma we have to become less selfish and see the needs of others before ourselves but balance is also necessary. Else you get trapped in a cycle where others ill treat you because you have too much compassion and after a breaking point you feel bitter towards them again trapping you back in viscous cycle. So better to keep it balanced. Have compassion for yourself and for others!

There are many layers to that like mental, emotional , physical and energetic . There are many sadhanas one can do for them to clear out the "bondage" but one must find an authentic teacher like Sadhguru or my teacher ( he teaches at Drukama , check it out ). Enlightenment happens when one least expects it, no one really does expect it actually, even if they desire or ask for it. It is true that sometimes suffering brings a dramatic change inside the mind and heart of a person, and în just one simple moment, the balance shifts and you realize where you come from, who you really are (as an eternal soul and divine spark) you actually remember you are eternal, and that death has no sting none so ever, on the contrary death is a blessing because it brings change new beginning, and not at all the end, death is simple a passage, hopefully to a higher plane of existence, where eternal bliss and wonder are waiting for you. :) don't forget all the higher planes of existence are inside you, but you will find them în this life if it's part of your destiny, meaning not earlier nor later but at the right moment !! God Bless

I'm not sure about this advice. I think that balance is necessary. I was having too much passion for others. That will lead you to being "too nice" and possibly feeling unappreciated. You definitely need to be very passionate towards yourself and your goals, but put half your focus on others as well. BALANCE will cause the best karma in my opinion.

In according with Upanisads and Prakarana based on Upanisads, an enlighten being have only prārabdhakarma, he have overcome agamikarma and sancitakarma; according to Vedānta an enlighten have less karma! And we must remember that karma works only on the viavaharika level of reality, wile on the Paramartika level, the only level of reality absolutly real, karma does not exsist; the Jīvanmuktha, the one free wile living, have realized that he is not in boundage with karma, Tat Tvam Asi, snd that is ever free!

I highly doubt that I would be enlightened, but it has been a life long goal chased obsessively from early age until a couple of years ago where I got forced into more or less full retreat due to Narcolepsy and bipolar problems, especially their consequences as the narcolepsy started developing later in life.
But it has also caused me to naturally lucid dream since the age of five, from where I really started asking different question, knew that reality was so much more and constantly trying to grasp the bigger picture and how things are connected.
Together with countless resets in life, partly due to my curiosity and drive to constantly expand my perspective, but probably also as a result from the bipolar frequent ups and downs, there has been a lot of karma flowing in all directions. About a year ago I entered the domain of a new, higher mental state of being. One step closer to my conciussness, a state of acceptance and submitting oneself to something bigger, life itself. A state that makes me grateful for even the most painful suffering and losses I've experienced so many times in life, without I don't think I would be able get here. The mental path to here has been a controversial one, based in a continuos inner conversation mixed with meditative states occuring rather easily and spontaneously as a result from the Narcolepsy.
Again, I do not consider myself enlightened, but I did experience the opportuniy of the journey Sadghuru is talking about, the one where focusing on Karma kept me grounded, from leaving my body. It was no near death experience, just total peace. I was gaining conciousness in another place of which I can not tell much details, I never fully gained concioussness, but it seemed very similar to the everyday reality we know, but more real as in making the current one feel more as a dream in comparison.
As I was getting more concsious in this other place, I was loosing conciousness here, memories were fading, I lost language, sensory abilitys, muscle control and in the end stopped breathing. All while I was gaining what I lost here in that other place, a place with a different temperature, something wet on my skin, a place that seemed very bright but mainly as a result of my eyes not being used to it or me to them, it was a place where I could feel all kinds of positive emotions on a very intense level towards me.
During a brief moment, I could transition back and forth between the two minds with my conciousness, and it was obvious to me that if I transitioned fully, my old life would quickly fade like a dream and probably leaving a dead body behind in this place. This identical experience repeated itself three days later, I choose to stay for no obvious reason, on the contrary I had every reason to move on. Focusing on what could very well be described as a kind of karmatic flow was what made it possible to stay.
I've been wanting to share this experience, this probably isn't the best place, but so far the most relevant I've stumbled upon.

@Narco Polo There are 8 jhanas. ‘The state of complete dwelling in emptiness is reached when the eighth jhāna is transcended.‘ It is possible to train in attaining the jhanas, although I find that intentionally wanting to achieve these altered states of consciousness makes it almost impossible. I didn’t want to get attached to the feelings and experiences, even during the experience itself, and ironically that was the reason I moved into the next and next jhana until everything was consciousness, then everything started to become emptiness. Did your second experience happen spontaneously?

Please read Vivekacudamani by Saint Adisankara : a few verses on Karma/prarabdha karma below.
      458. The body has been fashioned by Karma, so one may imagine Prarabdha work with
reference to it. But it is not reasonable to attribute the same to the Atman, for the Atman
is never the outcome of work.
      459. The Shrutis, whose words are infallible, declare the Atman to be "birthless, eternal
and undecaying". So, the man who lives identified with That, how can Prarabdha work
      be attributed ?
      460. Prarabdha work can be maintained only so long as one lives identified with the
body. But no one admits that the man of realisation ever identifies himself with the
body. Hence Prarabdha work should be rejected in his case.
      461. The attributing of Prarabdha work to the body even is certainly an error. How can
something that is superimposed (on another) have any existence, and how can that
which is unreal have a birth ? And how can that which has not been born at all, die ? So
how can Prarabdha work exist for something that is unreal ?
462-463. "If the effects of ignorance are destroyed with their root by knowledge, then
how does the body live?" - it is to convince those fools who entertain a doubt like this,
that the Shrutis, from a relative standpoint, hypothesise Prarabdha work, but not for
proving the reality of the body etc., of the man of realisation.

Sandhguru has a beautiful disposition and a beautiful mind that most often is gentle kind, undisturbed, although none of us are perfect, and sometimes we all learn and grow even if and sometimes especially when we do at times become disturbed, for an enlightened being, disturbances only help us to become more sure of ourselves and more at peace with ourselves, even if we had already believed that we had achieved complete peace and surety already. I hope that God will guide and blesses Sandhguru more and more each and everyday.

People really would be well off being more grounded and being able to witness the divinity that is already here, within us and around us. "Kissing a frog" - and "A princess is appearing", is more than a fairy tale.
We usually concentrate about the seven chakras, we have in our body, but we have several more.
"Kissing the frog" is - "waking up our eight chakra" (one hand with over "Crown Chakra"), where our "Divine Body" - lives.
"The frog" is a symbol of - "an ignored chakra", while this is probably the most important chakra we have. (And for those who have studied The Bible, more thoroughly: I am not talking about "The spirit God let live in us" [Letter of James {Jacob} 1,21 and 4,5 - confirmed in 1 Cor 2,11 -- and I am not talking about "The Holy Spirit).
Waking up this spirit, will lift you up - into "The People of God".
