Damn, you were hitting trails before the era of full squish huh, Bravo! I tried but gave up. These young bucks have no clue how good they have it with 200mm travels! You had alot of excellent advice on trying to get the full read on a used mtb. I recently watched one of your videos of you pulling a good ole square taper BB. Ive been trying to figure out which way to go on adding a power meter onto an ebike that has a square taper BB. Im stuck between replacing the Square Taper BB with a Hollowtech or something, but then I have to replace the crankset and all that, plus Im not even sure if I could fit the cad sensor to a new spindle anyway, and then use a cheapish spider or maybe crank arm power meter OR just get some power meter pedals, but all those have clipless pedals which Im not sure I want to use? Idk... But anyway, Im glad I found your channel, Ill be looking out for more. Sweet work on this mtb. That long stem definitely screams older school! I wish you did more on the mtb side, but I 100% completely get why you dont! Have a good one!
If I were looking for that data, I would go with power meter pedals. I'm just looking for more time to ride, and I found the tech slows me down. LOL. For me, sometimes it's just better not to know.
Seems to me after listening to your videos talk about the industry seems to me that they’re making bicycles as complicated as owning a car when really the whole idea behind the bike is the simplicity of it, but they made it so difficult to own a bike electronic expensive partsbikes are outrageously priced I mean that’s ridiculous

Didn't SRAM have a recall on those Elixir brakes?
I'll check into that.
