HIGH LUMEN TACTICAL FLASHLIGHT - The Cyansky K3 V2 can emit 2000 lumens with a maximum range of 760 yards. LUMINUS SFT-40W LED is the ideal working light for patrol, EDC and search and rescue.
USB-C RECHARGEABLE -The K3 V2 is equipped with a rechargeable battery. In order to permanently ensure waterproof, we optimized the charging mode, took out the battery separately for charging, and made special protection for the battery, which is safe and reliable.
PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL - More accurate temperature control is achieved by optimizing the internal manufacturing structure details. When the product temperature is higher than the safe value (131degrees F), the product brightness will be reduced through temperature control to avoid product damage and injury to users.
INTERNAL UPGRADE - The Cyansky K3 V2 flashlight uses double springs at the front and back of the positive and negative electrodes to enhance the shock absorption effect, prevent reverse connection, and improve battery compatibility.
ALL-WEATHER CAPABLE - Durable all metal construction that is IP68 waterproof and impact resistant. Can tolerate temperatures of -86 to 122 degrees F.

A slight improvement, but not quite fit for a V2 upgrade. I really enjoyed the V1's mode spacing of High at 800 Lumens, the V2 at 450 was an odd change. I had a chat with my contact, since I'm a dealer for the HS6R, and have tried to get them to use dual UIs like Sofirn: General UI and Tactical UI. They're looking into it.
Agreed.I would have liked 800 meters of throw and an upgraded LED Emitter too.I have the original version which is excellent and easy to use.
@@MrBlessed70 My K3 V1 isn't great, the LED is badly centred and it's started changing to Strobe on its own whilst in Turbo mode

What would you choose between this and the Fenix TK20R for self defense purpose (blinding the aggressor)?
You need an instant turbo access from the tailswitch for that instance, a light that doesn't require you to set the memory mode on Turbo before you leave your house.
Blinding an attacker only buys you maximum of 2 seconds of blinding and they will recover from that blindness fairly quickly

To be quite honest there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the V1 and V2 in your comparison shots they look almost the same. I realize they measure differently, but they appear almost the same.
Only thing I noticed was the K3 V2 was a TAD cooler than the K3, and the hotspot was a little more defined. The main improvements are in build quality. 2 piece body vs 3 piece, double springs vs 1 spring. Centred LED vs a very lopsided lazy placement.
I was wondering what the difference was, because beam wise.. they’re super close.
