When my mother was pregnant with my younger brother in 1984, her dr told her and my father that the baby wouldn’t survive the pregnancy (it was a rough pregnancy) and if the baby did, the baby wouldn’t love long due to severe disabilities. My parents were (my mother is in heaven now) absolute pro-life and they protested the dr’s suggestion every time she mentioned it. My mom went into labor on Dec 21, 1984 and delivered a HEALTHY 9# boy who is now 38 with 3 children of his own.

All that to say that drs don’t know everything - and this coming from me, a registered nurse. Another example - my husband was married before me and one of his children was a micro preemie. She weighed 13oz at birth. She celebrated her 21st birthday this past September. The drs that they saw before/after her delivery said that she would not survive. My bonus daughter proved each and every one of them wrong!! Glory be to God!

My wife was pregnant at 36. We were told by a "counselor" that she was of "advanced maternal age and there are "other" options." At that point I said to her that we are done with this conversation. There are no "other options". We don't care if this baby has 6 legs three arms and 10 heads we're keeping him or her. We now have a 6'3" "baby boy" that we are so proud of in excellent health, God fearing, an athlete, a straight A student, friendly, polite, and respected by his friends and peers.

      Yes Greg,
And just as beautiful is the fact that Adam was made natural, not spiritual.
So from the beginning of man's creation he needed to be delivered from death to life. From mortality to immortality.
This is why Jesus came. So that men might have life abundantly. This is why Jesus said men must be born again.
Not because men are born with a sin nature as Ken so wrongly teaches. But, because all men are just as Adam was when God made him(1Cor.15:45-48). Natural, not spiritual. And only Those who are born of God are spirit and therefore heirs to His kingdom.
Man's need for salvation has nothing to do with a sin nature. His need for salvation is because he is born natural, not spiritual just as Adam was when he was made.
      Even so... Maranatha!!

      Just think,
Too funny about the goat. But, believers have eternal life after they have come to a saving faith in Jesus. If they die before the 1st resurrection their spirit goes to heaven.
"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Fourteen-year-old Abby's testimony is wonderful. However, it should be added that even a child who isn't perfect has a right to live. Even a child who isn't able to function up to the 'norms' for other people, still is valuable in the eyes of God and has a right to live. We will someday stand (or fall on our faces) before the mighty God who created us, and have to give account to Him for how we've treated other people, especially those who were both innocent and defenseless. That includes the unborn babies, but it also includes the physically and mentally handicapped -- who will no longer be handicapped or voiceless in Heaven.

Apparently a fairly common thing in the late 1970s- early 1990s was for OB-GYNs to tell their patients following amniocentesis that there was 50/50-60/40% chance that their babies would be born with spina bifida. (I knew several. All of the women had the babies anyway and all of them were completely healthy, no heart problems,no spina bifida, etc.) I'm wondering if there was a problem with the test, maybe certain chemicals in certain women, or some other unpredictable variables that might have given false or sketchy results without the OB/GYNs being aware of that at the time.

I was brought to tears by the 14 year old girl who declared “she is not a defect”. There are parents and my mother was one, who told me frequently that I was “defective”. My brother and sister would parrot this to me when Mom was even not in the room. As siblings can be cruel, it has been so hurtful to me.
To hear “I am not a defect” so boldly spoken, it is like something in my heart was healed too. That God had a purpose in my life.
Several years ago I nearly died, my gallbladder was at the point of explosion, I knew that an appendix can rupture, never knew this was also true of a gallbladder. Our ER at our local hospital was due to be closed. I was too critically ill to be airlifted and taken to Panorama City, so I had to have the surgery at Antelope Valley Hospital with my Kaiser surgeon. The hospital was full, but they opened a closed room, just for me and on the last day for a while that their operating rooms were to be used, I was operated on, it was on my birthday.
I had been trying to lose weight, and went on the Keto diet. Do they tell you this could happen to you? No, but it happened to me. It made me very sick.
Since then I am a vegan and this surgery was 9 years ago.
I lived from the time I was born only able to just tolerate milk. It was so hard on my system, that I sweat like I was in shock, as indeed, I was. Though over the years I could tolerate it somewhat, some dairy products would not stay in my stomach. I’d throw up. I ended up with crippling arthritis and in a wheelchair at age 62. I gave up dairy in a day, and in about 3 weeks, I could walk free of the wheelchair. I thought to myself: “This is interesting…. What else could food do.”
God led me to re-read Genesis 1 and the words leapt off the page when God told Adam and Eve what their food was: PLANTS! When the ark rested on the mountains of Ararat, God did not change our physiology. I took God at His Word. The rest of my family went on eating as usual. My husband was struck with Prostate Cancer. The diet kept the cancer from coming back. He had the surgery. 3 other men were struck with the same cancer who were retiring, they did not opt for surgery, but chemo and radiation. All 3 were died within 6 months. It is now 6 years since my husband’s surgery.
God is good. What He has told us to do, is still good. It healed me and my husband.
What I was called defective for, was that I had hyperhidrosis, I was that intolerant of dairy. When I gave up milk, my body went back to normal, no more cold, clammy sweats as if I was in a state of shock. I lived this way for YEARS! In time dairy put me in a wheelchair, and likely contributed to what my gallbladder was full of: biliary sand made of both cholesterol and calcium. Dairy had given me gout. And though it wasn’t in my big toe, it was in many other joints. But I am well now, just doing what the Word of God told us to eat.

    • @jessicar.8404
      @jessicar.8404 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

Yes, but after the flood God gave us every living creature to eat. "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things."
Genesis 9:3 KJV. So, yes our physiology must have changed. This is true especially since plants are not complete foods for us. No plant has every essential nutrient that we must consume, but all animal flesh does. I don't doubt dairy is a problem for many. I don't tolerate it either, but meat is essential for truly optimal human health. Avoiding processed foods is best for health, but meat is a whole natural food.

@@jonnyrondo507 To mock God is to disrespect, dishonor, or ignore Him. It is a serious offense committed by those who have no fear of God or who deny His existence. The most easily recognized form of mockery is disrespect typified by verbal insults or other acts of disdain. It is associated with ridicule, scoffing, and defiance. Mockery is a dishonoring attitude that shows low estimation, contempt, or even open hostility.
In the Bible mockery is a behavior and attitude shown by the fool (Psalm 74:22), the wicked (Psalm 1:1), the enemy (Psalm 74:10), the hater of knowledge (Proverbs 1:22; 13:1), the proud (Psalm 119:51; Isaiah 37:17), and the unteachable (Proverbs 15:12). A mocker goes beyond mere lack of judgment to making a conscious decision for evil. Mockers are without a spirit of obedience, teachability, discernment, wisdom, worship, or faith.
Those who mock God will mock the people of God as well. The prophet Jeremiah "became the laughingstock of all my people" and was mocked "in song all day long" (Lamentations 3:14). Mockery of God’s prophets was commonplace (2 Chronicles 36:16). Nehemiah was mocked by his enemies (Nehemiah 2:19). Elisha was mocked by the youths of Bethel (2 Kings 2:23). And of course our Lord Jesus was mocked-by Herod and his soldiers (Luke 23:11), by the Roman soldiers (Mark 15:20; Luke 23:36), by a thief on a cross (Luke 23:39), and by the Jewish leaders who passed by the cross (Matthew 27:41).
God warns that mockery of what is holy will be punished. Zephaniah predicted the downfall of Moab and Ammon, saying, "This is what they will get in return for their pride, for insulting and mocking the people of the LORD Almighty" (Zephaniah 2:10). Isaiah 28:22 warns that mockery will cause the chains of Judah’s sin to become stronger and that destruction will follow. Proverbs 3:34 says that God will mock the mocker but give favor to the humble and oppressed. Second Kings 2:24 records the punishment that befell the youths who jeered Elisha.
This is what it means that God is not mocked. There are repercussions for ignoring God’s directives and willfully choosing sin. Adam and Eve tried and brought sorrow and death into the world (Genesis 2:15-17; 3:6, 24). Ananias and Sapphira’s deception brought about a swift and public judgment (Acts 5:1-11). Galatians 6:7 states a universal principle: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows."
God cannot be deceived (Hebrews 4:12-13). Achan’s sin (Joshua 7) and Jonah’s flight (Jonah 1) were not unknown to God. Jesus’ repeated words to every church in Revelation 2-3 were, "I know your works." We only deceive ourselves when we think our attitudes and actions are not seen by an all-powerful and all-knowing God.

Now I'm regenerate, born again , and have been talking on the point of authority of men in the aspect of abortion, and how a man has no say in weather or not a Woman gets a abortion by law. It was a extreme and shaking moment to hear a woman say " im getting rid of it" sobering, and gladly, step one in pivotal points, that woke me up.. and called me to give everything to Christ. We have to move to understanding the one sidedness in these laws... Unfortunately The state of mind most men are in generally doesn't welcome Responsibility well. Feminism has eroded the concept of men's responsibility to the point that we write "men" and "Woman" as though women are somehow more important than men. When I was lost, I was a fierce feminist. Now that I'm saved, I thank God for His Word's clarity on the right relationship between men and women. I contend that men have not given up their sense of responsibility in a vacuum. Women have, in large part, taken over everything to such a degree (I'm speaking of feminists primarily) that men really don't have much else to do but act like boys. This is PARTIALLY responsible for the lack of responsibility seen in men. Not fully, but I do not believe it can be left out. Just owning it as one woman here, having her say to support your point.

Or let's say you had a choice between your wife or the child what would you choose?
Or let's say you didn't know the baby would be killed by a doctor by your wife's choice because she didn't want it?
There's a lot of things people can say. It's not about saying things, it's about doing them.
It's wrong to kill a baby. Our choices are our burdens or our treasure, a person makes a choice on understanding, or wisdom , or selfishness, wants, or fear. The outcome of things when given to God in conscience, when doing what is right for others not yourself, is honor onto the doer . Some people lack conscience and do what they want for themselves, or want for the desired outcome. What christians do is Honor God before themselves.
That would include me offering my life for those of your child and wife if it was my choice.

It is good that Abby was allowed to live, that she was successfully operated on, and that she was living a good life at the age of 14. And it was good to hear her story.
It is interesting, though, to hear her talk of being operated on as a baby, and then to hear her say that she was "fearfully and wonderfully made". If she was made so wonderfully, why did she need to be operated on? Did God mess up and need a bit of help from human surgeons?
The reality is that Christianity and mainstream secular politics both have it wrong. Christianity has it wrong - by which I mean factually wrong - in saying that we are not mere products of nature, and mainstream secular politics has it wrong - by which I mean morally wrong - in failing to hold to the principle that we should look after each other's well-being. We _are_ products of natural processes, and nature doesn't care about our well-being, so we do have to intervene and "play God" if we want to maximise everyone's well-being, which I think we should do.

We were told if she did live, she would never walk or talk. She had persistent fetal circulation. Constantine created a mash-up of idol worship and Christianity and called it good. But it isn't. It is Not biblical. Also, Mary had other children after Jesus. It's IN THE BIBLE, yet your church lies and tells you she was a perpetual virgin. It's a lie. Read your Bible. Also, those old men in Vatican city live like kings with ridiculous wealth and a culture that hides abuse. Jesus said, "Come unto Me..." He didn't say come to me through some fallible man in a robe. The veil was TORN at the crucifixion for a reason. So that we may come directly to HIM. I pray you find the TRUTH. And that starts with reading God's Word and not "the church's" interpretation of it. Going backwards , we could be closer to Noah's time , than we think. People are at odds about the way things are going , but few are seeing that the end is coming. The famine of the End time is not a hunger for food , but a hunger for the word . And that my friend, is what is happening now , even though some can not see. The people need food for their soul. Her sister, my aunt, an OBGYN told her to abort me because I would be retarded since she was older then usual… I’m not a genius but I’m above average, hard working, a loving mom, and a Christian woman who makes sure to teach my sons about Jesus.
Also, growing up my dads nickname for me was “large Marge” and he told me I was as smart as a box of rocks. Or that he would trade me in for a big stupid dog. My mom would tell me, “Maybe when you’re older your nose will fit your face.” Or “don’t wear your hair behind your ears as they aren’t an attractive feature for you.”
I then married a man that mirrored my father like Freud says. A man that told me I was worthless and stupid and nobody loved me not even my parents.
God Jesus and The Holy Spirit SAVED ME showed me my worth and gave me 2 sons so I could finally have a person for me to shower my love on and who could love me in return. GOD IS GOOD!!

It's clearly a reflection on who they are and nothing at all to do with you. Except maybe for the fact that you were a light in their life, meant to be a blessing, but the darkness hates the light so they attacked you for it.
I've seen this happen with several people I know, including my ex. It was clear what an amazing blessing they were intended to be to their family, but they were vilified and abused horribly, because seeing such light and life hurts people that are stuck in darkness, so they lash out.

Wow!! Wow!! And Wow!! This was a wonderful and eye opening experience. Never have I viewed and listened to a presentation that was so biblically, thoroughly, and accurately presented. I will be making a purchase of the two books and sharing them with family and friends. Thank you so much for a wonderful presentation as this will help me to explain (speaking the truth in love) the abortion issue through God’s word. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️!,

I just went through a natural pregnancy loss at 10 1/2 weeks gestation. I was utterly devastated. All the dreams I had already started to have for this little person were ripped away when I lost her. I can never imagine someone electing to have their child taken from them and murdered. My child and i had already connected in ways I can’t describe. And I only knew her for 2 months.

And wasn't she speaking to a House committee for the state of Minnesota? i.e., the home state of Tim Walz--current vice presidential candidate for the strongly pro-abortion Democrat party? 🤢 God could not have put her in a more strategic place to deliver His message! 💖 🙂😇
