My 2014 Fiat 500e is now 7 years old. over 70,000 miles. Best car I've ever owned. I don't see any battery degradation so far. The car has paid for itself in fuel cost savings. Maintenance costs are still ZERO except for tires and head light bulbs.

This was a great wee first drive video, loved the banter and fun. Fiat doing wat they do best, great little city cars! This is going to be a pretty big deal I think for alot of younger people looking to get in to the EV world. The variety in specs, range and price etc will be massive selling points for so many. Looks like it's managed to maintain its 500ness and yet move with the times, huge advances in the interior from the older models, well done Fiat!

F'ing Idiot ! i took it to the shop the 1st time it briefly dropped its rpm's on the highway and they only found vacuum leaks to fix. i COMPLETELY blame MYSELF as i knew the coils were notoriously weak. Temp gauge never moved. had a set of alfa 4c coils on order when i scrambled her. i am still sick about walking away from that car today... i got her from a good friend for 10 k w/ 20 k on the odometer. she died at 90 k, 3 years after purchase. cant imagine how Great the Electric version is ! drove this car from Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas at night. never been in a car that could LAUNCH up a hill so FAST ! I've heard it referred to as a Canyon Runner. YES, it is ! this 1.4 L turbo 172 HP motor is the same as the jeep compass and the dodge dart. i would buy another one tomorrow if offered to me. mine was White with the top half painted Black aftermarket. @PumpkinBecki ปีที่แล้ว

@paulhayes2189 I love it! Absolutely love it. With aircon, infotainment and lights I think the range is more like 150 miles, but I can go a whole week to and from work on one charge. Charging at motorway services can be painfully slow, but if you're passing a Gridserve Electric Highway like the one a Braintree, Essex its soooo fast!! I went from 49% to 85% in 15 minutes. The footwell size is no issue at all, even if I'm wearing big winter boots there's plenty of room. Climate Control is a blessing in winter and very efficient at defrosting. You can pack a huge amount in it, with or without dropping the back seats.
The turning circle it small, and being a small car, you can park in some pretty small spaces.
In short, I have no regrets getting my 500e, none at all 😊

Ordered mine the 15th of March.. got a phone call a week later from the dealer that specs had all changed and needed to reorder. So lots of heat scratching trying to get exactly what I wanted against what was allowed as Fiat ordering had not updated web site to match new ordering site. Basically it appears Fiat were coping with over demand by cutting range a bit. Dealer and I finally reached a good compromise and Fiat swallowed the small price increase as a bit if good faith. Got a call today that car will be ready for collection June 4th so roughly 10 weeks delivery time on an in demand car.. Got the rag top so looking forward to a super summer… can’t wait😁

Fiat 500e is small and feels small, too plastic interior and has a much more cheaper feel than Honda E overall. I prefer Honda E even if it has less range. I bought Honda E instead after driving Fiat 500e here in Sweden.
Honda E gives you much better build quality, more interesting tech, more comfort, cooler retro-futuristic design, interior that gives you a feel of a nice looking living room, lots of huge screens, HDMI-in and much more to enjoy. Range is good enough for its purpose too.

The 500 doesn't have twice the range of the Honda e. Nevertheless, the Honda e has eightfold the driving fun and ride quality, quadruple the wow factor and originality, twice the confort and practicality and, presumably, a zillion times more reliability (the car and the battery).
