This is super useful, as I'm both pulling for Jinhsi and learning how to play Taoqi properly: I really like her as a character, but struggle with properly utilizing her abilities, as I find her moveset somewhat clunky and do not clearly understand her kit's potential. After watching your video, I finally feel like I understand what Taoqi is all about. It will still take a lot of time for me to master her playstyle, but, luckily, I finally know what I have to do. Honestly I'm finding Mortefi to be extremely comfortable for her - doesn't take as long as Yinlin but at the cost of damage. Still, lest field time makes it more engaging for Jihnsi to steal the spotlight.
i suggest you to read out the rotation during the showcase to help the viewers understand what's going on on the screen, it will also useful for listeners only
Does it not seem like her field time requirement almost negates the worth of her outro buff? especially with Jinhsi, who seems like she is gonna require a ton of field time herself.
wrong because Jinshi is all about utilizing others outro skills to boost her forte bar. That buff Taoqi gives is specifically for that big blast attack that jinshi does that can go pretty high like 200k damage from a single hit
Great video man. I myself plan to pair Jinhsi with good off-field dps like Yinlin or Mortefi (the 5-star gun is GREAT), they help jinhsi generating her stacks pretty good right.. I wanted to make Taoqi a sub-dps for Jinhsi since Taoqi outtro is quite perfect for Jinhsi but her clunky playstyle is the only thing hold me back. Your video make Taoqui look much better. Oh if i plan to use Taoqi, i also have to level another Def% moonlit echo set which is quite expensive compare to just use other character with the sub-dps moonlit set you already have right

I'll be using Jinhsi with Taoqi and Yinlin. For Taoqi I think you can even improve the rotation by having the short rotation be only intro + 3EBA and swap cancel the third EBA (you can gain almost 1s by doing so), then do the full intro + 3EBA + liberation + Skill + BA (if needed for concerto) and Heron swap cancel with outro buff
110 pulls ready for Magistrate. Prefarm is 90% complete. Echo 3-3-1-1 are completely ready for the first time. I'm waiting for a dragon for crit damage. The echo kit for Taoqi is ready. Tomorrow I will prepare resources. Verina is completely ready
9 seconds for PC. 20 min. For mobile. I play on both PC and mobile and I can tell you now, everything is 1,000X smoother and faster to do on PC. This also includes rotation times. When testing, PC is about 30% faster.
Tbh I would go crit or def sword only on her and turtle for def buff. You can cast turtle and E at the same time and it does good damage since turtle is DEF scaling and it gives extra DEF. I do not auto on her really basically ignoring her outro most of the time. Basic loop would be Intro 3 hits Q - E - R switch. She is the only char in my team who can tank lvl 70 boses with DEF setup and do damage while being lvl 60 and average echos.
This character needs some buffs. Honestly I find it weird that her "parry" isn't actually a parry, you still take some damage just less unlike Jianxin who has a true counter. Also since her basic attacks don't scale off defense she misses out on a ton of damage, but then again she isn't really built for having a ton of damage or anything. I just feel like Jianxin is her but wayyyy better and kind of what she should be like.

Her on field time and need to parry kind of makes the benefit of the shield and having to dodge less a wash ?
