For a store bought salsa, this stuff I think is pretty amazing. Heat for sure ramps up as you eat more, surprised me how warm it gets. Definitely an amazing readily available salsa.
I use this with lime Tostitos, I’ll eat about 3/4 of a jar in 1 day. Great flavors and heat👍🏼!!!

My favorite commercially produced Salsa. Makes my mouth water just looking at this video.
This stuff is amazing. Eat it quite often. I like to add dried ghost pepper flakes to make it pop
Bold but not brutally hot, has a pleasant and somewhat adventurous zip that slowly ramps up and smoothly eases away, fading away like a ghost and leaving you wanting another dip. Would make a great queso, and wonderful scrambled eggs!
I love this salsa, and I put it on everything. When I first had it, I ate it with a whole bag of chips because I couldn't get the burn out of my mouth. I got through one third of the bottle in one sitting. It was painfully fantastic.
I like this ghost chilli and the habanero salsa.
This was my first experience with ghost pepper salsa and it's my first choice for salsa period now. Love to dip spicy chips in it.

Was at Kroger tonight and bought some of this because of the ghost pepper logo. Was happy to find that you'd already reviewed this. Gave me a better feel for where I am on my heat trek judging by your reaction to it. I've been used to stuff like Louisiana habanero hot sauce and Sriracha, which aren't very spicy by comparison. This is a nice little step up from that on the scale. I like the flavor profile a lot. I just need to find a good ghost pepper hot sauce that's on par with this salsa.

That's one of my fav mainstream salsas. I don't mess with the rest of Mrs. Refros products personally. Just boring. But yeah, this one is totally worth it in my opinion.
There's this new salsa from Mrs Renfros that came into the market that is supposedly even hotter then this.

I love this one. I also like the Habanero one as well, though, obviously it's not as hot, but it has that nice smooth texture and still has a bit of heat.
One of the best off-the-shelf salsas I have ever tried... and I can normally detect and hate extract. Me and extract don't get along; tears my guts up something fierce.

Got a jar of this from a shop in Glasgow, Scotland last night.
Wouldn't say I have a super high tolerance but it wasn't as crazy hot as
I thought it may have been. I'd say maybe a 5-6 on my scale.
Still a nice burn and a great flavour. Put a
thin layer on toasted cheese for a tasty breakfast.

I just picked up an updated version at Walmart and boy oh boy was i surprised. Definitely has good heat to it. It's like mixing mad dog gold in salsa
I love this salsa. It's not too hot while you are eating the salsa but if you take more than a minute break the heat starts to really ramp up.
Hoooow are you doing that, man?! I just got some yesterday cause I just happened upon it while searching for habenaro mango salsa which they didn't have, but I got the ghost pepper salsa and it kicks my ass! I am even someone who always either puts hot sauce or cayenne pepper powder on everything but I can eat about 8 chips with that ghost chili stuff and I'm done lol. Great flavor though, its almost smokey to me.

I love this stuff. I’m addicted to anything spicy, but with mrs. renfros, I prefer the smoked salsa. Not hot at all, but that tastes so good

It is comfort zone hot. The higher you go than this it is going to start up the pain scale. One can eat this and it isnt going to mess you up and make you fire poop. Might make you sweat lightly if you eat enough.
Great Vid, Johnny will have to look for it in the stores. With all the peppers in the jar, I bet it has good flavor. Mrs. Renfro makes some Good Products, I love the Hot Chow Chow from Mrs. Renfro awesome in Pinto Beans.

This stuff is pretty hot to me but I enjoy it with tortilla chips and occasionally some cheese dip!
I like hot and spicy, but the hottest I ever had was scotch bonnet homemade salsa, so I’m not a super chili head, but I bought this and it kicked my ass for sure. So good though love the flavor, and after the initial shock and heat hit, I found I was able to continue eating it without having to stop. It’s hotter than the scotch bonnet for sure but not by much and it’s still enjoyable.

This has been my recent go to salsa. I think next time I’m going to try Jardine’s ghost pepper salsa, which I can get at my local Walmart. I tried Mrs. Renfros ghost pepper queso and that wasn’t nearly as good

Pretty cool. I just picked up a jar of this here today. Gonna try it. Its the hottest item they had where i was shopping. I was reading the ingredients and jar i got has ghost peppers in it. Maybe its different due to export

The jar has changed but I got this at Kroger yesterday and it has honestly ruined my night. It is unbelievably hot. It is good. But the first chip will make you realize you're not messing around.

Thank you for the review. I will def. try this sauce. It looks great. The only other Ghost Pepper sauce I have tried is SilverLeaf. I got it from a local liquor store in Houston, Tx. It was a good sauce, but not that hot. I will see how hot Mrs. Renfro's is.
Man, idk how far you've delved into it but imo you're in a great position to do well if you came out w your own brand of sauce. That or affiliate links. TH-cam's revenue is nice but def money to be made when you have an established following. Just saying.

I discovered Mrs Renfros back in 1999 and been eating the Habanero for the last 3 decades. When I saw they had ghost pepper I got excited. Man it was a step up from the heat of the habanero and I noticed a different flavor. At first it was too much to just eat but after a few weeks I got used to it. I been eating this exclusively for about a year and it always burns nice and gets to the point I have to take a break no matter how many bottles I go through. I love this stuff but Im not the kind that could eat an actual ghost pepper and the Carolina reaper would probably do me in lol. I wished they kept the old style labeling. Much cooler than this new boring label they replaced it with. P.S. I found that capsaicin does reduce inflammation because I suffer from chronic pain, not debilitating but enough to annoy you constantly. and after eating this stuff I always feel much much better.

It's a pretty hot salsa for me. I once chopped a reaper pepper and added it to a single bowl of Chili. I was starting hallucinate, my nose was draining eyes tearing and mouth dripping. I gave up after eating 2/3 of the bowl
You should try Texas Texas Ghost Pepper Fury salsa if ya haven't before. That stuff is fantastic.
I like the habenero one better. Quite light on heat but the flavor is very good. Almost as good as making fresh salsa. Bravo Renfros!

something relatable, i have this in my fridge haha. it's pretty hot to me woo wee. it really is scary hot if you compare to the hot of pace and pecante. its also hotter than sadie's which is favorite salsa at the chain store.

Hey johnny! I eat this often and love it!! While tou may not see this I enjoy this salsa often. It's a very satisfying salsa as well as flavorful, just curious with how well I handle this( almost no problem) does this qualify me as a person with tolerance? It maybe an extract. But I experiment with friends often and have found out I can hang. What would be your reccomendation for a step up from this???

I have a question, maybe it’s a dumb one but I am curious. We have habanero peppers at the grocery store. Is there any difference in heat between a pepper grown at home vs one purchased at a grocery store? Thank you.
Peppers are funny. You can pull two peppers from the same plant and have varying levels of heat. I tend to think anything grown at home tend to taste better but not necessarily hotter. Good question. Thanks for watching!

I just found your channel, great vids. Have you tried Jardine's Ghost Pepper Salsa? It was my favorite but is hard to find these days.
I picked up a jar yesterday (prob 5th jar I've had) and noticed the oleoresin ghost pepper in the ingredients. I searched on google for the ingredients and a lot of the labels I saw didn't include this and Cilantro was the last thing listed. Is this more of a 2.0 version? I remember having it in the past and it was pretty hot but the jar I have now makes me sweat after enough and my tolerance is higher than in the past. I also have heard that the heat in these varies from jar to jar.
one of my favorite commercial salsas. I make and can my own every year many hotter than this one but for most lame folks this one will light them up. it even gets to me and im a chili head.

How reliable is this place when they say the director certified the ghost pepper as the worlds hottest when we know there are at least 6 other peppers known to be hotter?
As I mentioned in the video, it was the hottest pepper at the time that recipe was created. I know an awful lot of peppers much hotter. I have reviewed many of them on this channel!
