The creep stands in front of a window at night and stalks a woman who undresses and he fantasises. He is so close and yet far away. The interesting thing is that the story is continued at one point without using words. Flake's keyboard continues the story musically 4:29 Flake's keyboard imitates footsteps. This means that he no longer looks through the window, but sneaks through the house. After that, the chorus starts again "so close, so far away from you" then takes on a different meaning. In the beginning, the situation is as described above. So close (he sees her from outside through the window), far away from you (the glass pane separates the two from each other). The situation at the end is different. So close (he snuck through the house to her), so far away from you (because he killed her and now she's gone).
The sentence "Because it's always dark when the Moon kisses the stars" at 4:25 - apparently means something unattainable, because the Moon cannot reach the stars with its "mouth".
