Who Has THE BEST FR Lightweight Button-Up Shirt? Tecgen, Carhartt or Ariat?

- If it's hot out and you have to wear a FR Button-Up Shirt this video is for you. We will give you 3 quick tips on picking out a cooler FR button up shirt and breakdown 4 of my favorite Lightweight FR Button-Up Shirts. We will have a video on Lightweight FR Long Sleeve Tees soon but today is about Lightweight FR Button-Up Shirts.
3 QUICK TIPS
TIP 1) The lighter the weight of the shirt the better. Your lightest CAT 2 shirts will be between 4-6oz. Don't get into a shirt over 6 ounces if you are trying to stay cool.
TIP 2) Know what the shirt is made out of. Cotton and Cotton Blends are usually thicker and warmer than your more intricate blends. The blends with no cotton will be more expensive but they will also keep you cooler.
TIP 3) Wearing lighter colors makes a difference. You may see a little more grease and grime when you wear a lighter colored shirt but it will keep you cooler than those darker colored shirts in hotter weather.

Rethink your design....... snaps dont fall off like sewn on buttons that have been exposed to sparks.. goofy, putting buttons on welders shirt. Good luck you may b.s. the newbe but most experienced welders wear ridgid denim wrangler with snaps.
