For recording acoustic, I like to use two mics aimed at the guitar, so you get a more natural sound. I then record the 2 tracks, pan left and right, then record them again and pan those 2 left and right. So, it's kind of a quad track. I then use the bend tool while using the TAB key to quickly find the transients, run through the tracks, and move the transients that might be a bit too far away from the grid. It's a bit more complicated than that to explain here in detail, but once you get the hang of it, it works well and is pretty easy to do.
To turn your guitar recording into MIDI, you would need to invoke the "edit with melodyne" option on that audio clip and then drag the melodyne audio clip to a MIDI track.
that could be a game changer for me, I'm definitely going to experiment with that. I'm not a keyboard player so I need a way of getting ideas from my guitar onto the daw for midi instruments. Thanks
@@dawjunkie-studio-one Oh man, that's pretty crazy - a 20 year break! I am 17 right now, so more than my entire age, lol! But your videos are very helpful and I hope you gain more success!!! Thank you, and once again your sense of music is great.
Great to watch how you set up this song. Thanks.

One like for your amazing guitar playing skills!!! Keep going buddy.
How long have you been playing guitar and been making music?
Thanks. A long time! Even though I took a 20 year break in between! 😁
