I love this pattern for sure, but do you have any tips for clear vinyl drag? I used a denim needle with polyester thread and tissue paper and still has major looping.

Try increasing your top tension a little bit. Are you using a Teflon foot?

Where did you find that sticky 'line' of tape? That looks like it would make sewing so much easier :)
