Hi, do you know if SolidWorks can return the equation of a drawing, for example an outline of a silhouette to do a trajectory tracking in cartesian space? I have simulated a trajectory tracking in Matlab/Simulink but using parametric equations of a circle and a lemniscate but I want to do a complex trajectory generated in a sketch in SolidWorks. Regards from Mexico.

why im not getting path mate motor? (2.24) i have similar robot designed for welding 2 pipes perpendicularly (welding profile isnt circular) so i have a trouble in giving motion study for that profile. somebody please help me

Make sure you have selected solid works motion add in and then instead of animation or basic motion select motion analysis from the drop down beside the calculate botton

Hello, you know how I could generate G-Code for a Kuka kr150 robot. The goal is to use it to make 5D manufacturing with laser cutting, plasma, machining and printing accessories.

Hi, for Solidworks I don't know if there is a module that can do that.
      Suggestion:
As far as I know, RHINO can do that:

      or

Can you hook me up with the end effector?

Sorry , for the moment I don't have any cad file for the gripper , but as I remember we used a SCHUNK gripper with a pneumatic anti-collusion device for the KR16 . many constructor (festo, shunk, robotiq ...) provide the cad of their grippers in their official sites .

Look very nice but whats the point of this? This is just a solidworks animation, its nothing like a Rhino, Visual Components or kukaSim simulation.
