    Thank you for this. Lovely top! Color suits you. Well done! I personally think that if you are going to do a sew along then you should go through everything/every steps. There are lots of those out there who are just starting on their sewing journeys and would appreciate you showing them. For those who already know how to sew 🧵 but just wanted to check certain steps, they can just fast forward to the point they are interested in.
    I’m really sorry to hear about your health issues. For someone so young I find it’s very sad. My daughter had health issues too and she’s now trying to work them through and make the best out of her life.
    I wish you all the best and hope you overcome whatever you are suffering from! Life’s too short. Enjoy everything that comes your way. And keep smiling, you are such a beautiful girl! xxx

      Thank you lovely! I am on a Facebook group but I find it overwhelming sometimes especially when women upload their positive tests and I’m still waiting for my day to come! I can talk to my friends and family which is good but yeah just such a weird hard thing to talk about and feels so isolating at times.

    breath and stay happy... I visualized, after seeing a dandelion coming up out of rocks on the road while at a red light. I thought.. if that little flower was able to take seed I pray God will make that happen for me. and I hope He makes it happen for you too. You have a kind way and I enjoy seeing more steps :) I bought a pattern and am trying my hand at garment sewing. I made blankets so I can sew a line . yay.
    you are a good teacher! and I like your casual style. thank you and all the best Paige! I'll say a pray for you.

    Love this! That top looks so nice on you! I really like either style of video- I think it’s great to film whatever you’re in the mood for, whether it’s more chatty or more tutorial and a true sew along, they’re all so fun to watch. My machine sometimes does that as well, I will sometimes switch the stitch if one in particular keeps giving me trouble. I practice a lot on a scrap from whatever fabric I’m working on to try to figure out what looks best. Sometimes it’s an interesting and frustrating process 😅

    • @paigejoannaa
      @paigejoannaa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much! That’s so kind about the feedback, you’re right as sometimes I just feel like chatting and not being as technical haha especially when the make it hard 😂
      Glad I’m not the only one that finds stitch issues frustrating and confusing haha xxxx

    skipping stitches - I find a STRETCH needle rather than a BALL POINT needle prevents skipped stitches when the fabric contains elastane/lycra

    Hi Paige how are you? I love your video and the fabric that you have chosen, it’s a lovely colour it the colour I choose as well lol . I dunt mind trying to make one in the future
    , Are the Friday patterns company have got easier instructions to follow, for me I find Instructions are bit hard to follow but following your video it’s will makes sense for me when I decide to the top. and where did you get your pins from because they were really cute when you pin the fabric together and where do you get the gold scissors from, I need to get a pair like those thanks xx

    • @paigejoannaa
      @paigejoannaa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, I am okay thank you for asking. How are you?
      Yeah the instructions in the booklet that come with Friday's patterns are so great - really simplified which is great. The pins I got from a random little sewing shop in Godalming, so not sure where you can get them online I'm afraid.
      Gold scissors are from Amazon, if you search gold sewing scissors they should come up. xxx

      Hi Paige am good am just trying to sew some pjs never do anything like this
      before. Do you know which one that you purchase the gold one because they are a few on Amazon, I just need a good fabric pair of scissors. I have a Bobbie, cleo, Stevie, lotta, coco, Tilly and the buttons sewing patterns so I am going to be busy trying all the patterns, I can’t wait for your to do the heather pattern for Friday pattern, interesting make to do, that’s good if the Friday pattern top is good for instructions x is the top alright for sewing with MHz

    I was wondering if you could give some advice on sewing up the opening that's left after you insert elastic into a channel like in the cuff here? On some patterns I find it really difficult to do this on the machine - do you stretch the elastic so it's flat? Sometimes I find that really hard to do when the cuff is quite small! Just wondering if you have any tips

  • @sonyahuffman5761
