This is an exaggerated. US carriers aren't bad, but also aren't anything special. Very mid-tier and mediocre. We've never had a flag carrier, which probably hasn't helped. If given the opportunity and right price, I'd choose something more "exotic" 10 times out of 10.
14:00 that’s a part of the airline’s new strategy and goals with flight attendants. It wasn’t the case a year or two back, but they’ve been asked the FAs to interact more with passengers and as you said it brings a business class feel flying on a low cost carrier. And post flight you would get an email asking for inflight review with a question “did any staff member make your journey memorable”. Gives the crew a raise, potential stories for their social media team and from what I’ve been hearing they are using it to screen crew for their upcoming long haul and business class flights.
Indigo looks way better than RyanAir, Easy Jet and Jet2! The cleanliness of the plane, the attitude of the cabin crew differs so much! Also flying in Asia is still seen as a luxury compared to Europe. Especially domestic flying. So great on Indigo for being politer than Air India

Indigo’s crew is amazing on International flights but they use domestic flights layout on international flights as well and honestly, I can’t bear that! But just came to know that they are launching business class flights now, let’s see how this one goes
You should try the Indigo International flight to Turkey. It's layout is pathetic. You will feel the layout in domestic routes are thousand times better than the Turkey route.
I’ve flown Indigo within India and to Thailand and I found the staff very polite, planes clean and flights punctual. Once I took air india from Bangalore to Delhi and it was horrible; mosquitoes in the cabin!! Indigo are good
On the domestic sector IndiGo is rarely value for money- they charge for everything like RyanAir and on some sectors they have monopoly hence we have no choice but to fly with them. Otherwise I would choose Vistara or Air India for slightly more.

Air India does better in that level. We are slowly shifting towards Air India for domestic, after TaTa group taken over from the govt .
Indigo is actually money making airline from the beginning but they're policy of flying no matter how many passengers on board made them highly reliable
I completely agree with this statement! I like IndiGo too, but I always feel they lack vibrancy. There are many things they can do to be more vibrant and engaging: special liveries, competitions through social media channels, mall promotions, and much more. Cz why not? It might actually make them popular and liked by the public. I'm thinking of AirAsia's (Malaysia & Thai divisions) style of marketing when I say this. I would like to see that kind of vibrancy with IndiGo.
Being an Indian and also due to the fact that Indigo is the primary carrier in India which covers all convinient time slots in all sectors, I have been constrained to use it fairly frequently to suit my timings and convenience which other airlines cannot offer. I was appalled that in my recent flight to Nairobi, Indigo did not even offer a glass of water in the 6 hours flight unless asked, leave aside on flight snacks and meals. That's a shame. In spite of being a similar budget airline, Kenyan Airlines offered a good dinner on my return flight to Mumbai . Indigo is growing, but their stingy approach is a killer. For Indians, there is no viable alternative.
Due to immigration rules, online check-in is typically unavailable for flights between different countries most of the times. This is something I always face while traveling to North American or European countries.

I never got any issue with anything in indigo, always punctual, clean, very good service, brand new planes, easy to buy tickets and booking, feel sorry you got problem with bookings.
Indigo is very good and well managed airliner . Most of the time very punctual and flexible . They have ordered 943 Airbus Aircrafts , yes you heard it right 943 Airbus aircrafts are on order with 343 currently in operation. This will make the airline the largest Airliner on earth .
