Time Gal is originally a Laserdisc arcade game developed by Taito and Toei Corporation and released in 1992. The Sega CD port, however, was developed by Wolf Team and published in the US by Renovation Products in 1993. Luda stole a time machine in the distant future and wants to alter the past to suit his desires, and it is up to the titular character (known as Reika in the original Japanese version) to stop him. The English version is notorious for having very cheesy English acting.
Darkman425 ( tasvideos.org/... ) stops Luda and saves the past in record time.

I like how the HUD Reika gives the peace sign whenever you perform the correct action.
Good heavens, that woman has the WORST luck!
Hey man, who said being a time traveler was easy?
Bad luck, but really good jukes.
That frame rate is torturous. The struggle was real back then. 😂😂 we're spoiled rotten today.
I've played this on a 7Mhz Z80 machine with a primitive graphics circuit and IDE interface which looked and played a ton better. This port really sucks.
2001 and 2010 are not as I remember
They really had higher expectations for the human race. 😂
Congrats, you win. Here's a compilation of you getting f'd up!
_"You may be wondering how I ended up here"_
Game was made in 1992 and they seriously thought in 9 years time we'd be experincing Akira
for those of us familiar with that hypothetical of becoming fully immortal except for a snail that is actively coming to kill you, this feels much like that. she’s capable of time travel but the trade-off is that everyone and everything is out for her blood
"Space Ace," but it's a time-traveling battle Waifu.
13:20 that signal noise
Is anyone else confused as to what they just watched? This feels like an anime that was halfway animated and quarter way voice acted. The last bit was just the fact that they couldn't figure out how to make any of this make sense, so they just slammed it together.
0:46 the snk world heroes perfect knock down sound.
2:17 dhalsim elephants
3:30
2:57 avgn showed us this
I know that the animation was produced specifically for the game and that this is a port of a LaserDisc title, but the production has the feel of a demo reel for a TV series that wasn't picked up, like an anime Quantum Leap that never happened. It sounds like they started dubbing enemy grunts and then decided to leave the rest in. Maybe they ran out of money. LMAO at using a weed whacker sound effect for the 2001 punk hover bikes.
Some have noted the biker punks' similarities to Fist of North Star enemies, too.
9:54 2010 in what universe LOL
Full motion video
First :3 time gal is cool even with the corny dub
Lum?
Oh wow ... I've played a version of this on a beefed up ZX Spectrum which looked a ton better and had a much better framerate.
what a silly game
