Thanks. The graphics do look very nice. It's great in 4 player mode especially when you do the team attacks. The scorpions and mantis you can ride are pretty cool.
with that main character, this looks like a ninties street punk version of golden axe. I liked it when you 'tridented' that guy off his insect steed at the start - very cool move. Graphics are quite impressive in this game too. Great playthrough Merlin

Why was this never released on the Saturn?! It was designed as a 2D powerhouse and then they barely released any 2D games for it. The Sega 32 arcade board was basically the same hardware as the Saturn. Sega had a real propensity for dumb fuckery back then.

So they must of ripped off loads of movie audio clips that we are not aware of!!! Certainly not complaining though it's a good game and prob my fave Golden Axe.

The male screaming death sound you hear constantly from 13:43 to 14:00 is another ripped audio clip taken from Sven Ole Thorsen's character Thorgrim in the 1st Conan movie where that giant spike goes right through his chest during the battle of the mounds after he smashes his hammer down onto what he thought was Conans head when it was in fact a trap that led to the spike impaling him.
Here is a tip of easly killing Death Adder, if anyone don't know, now you will know, start the game, knock the enemy of the first mount pray mantis, till the scorpion dis mount the mantis mount the scorpion, keep mounting each new beast as you go along the game, last stage anyone will do, combo mantis or fire, when you reach Death Adder press attack and jump at the same time for power blow, do it 4 times till dizzy, go close to him and all you have to do is wack him only with normal attack, 🤗 when the monster shield is broken, if it is Trix do the power kick 4 times again and continue wacking him with normal attacks, the others will used the magic 4 times after the shield is broken and there you go 🤗
