Good video, thanks. Maybe you could also show how to import the segments into Google Ads so that you can align accordingly. That's why you do it all, mostly in connection with remarketing and retargeting. But what I don't fully understand. What's the point of creating GA 4 segments with self-collected data and transforming them into Google Ads, because lists are best suited for long-lasting campaigns. Lists vs Segments is the interesting question.

Great video! Very clear and also very timely. I think building audiences out of segments and being able to use them in Google Ads is going to be amazing.

Hi Sofiia. Thanks for the great knowledge.
At 2:43, you said that "the ability to create segments defines your GA4 expertise/mastery". I was think if you could create a compilation video of the top 20 challenging segments. 😁

Hi Sofia, thank you. Very interesting!
I' ve encountered a very strange thing. I' ve a user-scope custom dimension. Now, playing with reports in explore, if I insert a filter to exclude this dimension or I use a user segment in which I exclude this dimension (whit NOT flagged the any point in time option) I see different metric values. What do you think about this? The logic behind these two operations should be the same, no?

    Hello
Thank you very much for the great tutorials. They have helped me a lot so far.
I have a question about the target groups or conversions. In the old Analytics, it was relatively easy to create conversions if someone was on the website for longer than 2 minutes or looked at more than 3 pages. I found something that this would work in GA4 via target groups, but I'm not 100% sure if this is correct. Maybe you could do a tutorial about it. There might also be a way to delete this via the tag manager, which would be great because you could also use this conversion in other services.
    Greetings Georg

Thank you, Georg. There is a GA4 feature called Audience Triggers. You could utilize it to create some complex conditions - kind of turn your audiences into events and mark those events as conversions. This is a great idea. We will work on it.
