Its a basic tenet of buisness that reducing pricing will gain you more purchases and will not only make up for the loss on each individual sale most often, but also likely make you even more. And, it makes people trust and like your company, thus making them more williing to buy your products in the future. I dont even have a college degree (though I've educated myself much more than the average college graduate has) and i can see this, smh.

@@MuffHam i had to delete my profile and clear my cache first. And if you use a card you have to do it on the website. The 360 store only accepts gift cards now unless you do it on the site. But if you havent deleted your profile in a long time try that
I was prepared to drop a few hundred dollars on games to celebrate the end of my favourite console that I've been playing on and off since launch day 2005.
Now I'm about to drop that same money on a modded console and have the entire library for no additional cost.

Funnily enough, my Xbox 360 has never actually been able to connect to the internet no matter how much I've tried.
My other one did that but a Ethernet cable solved that lol. But I just use my main one with the Hard drive and both are Kinect Xbox 360s

Yea guys I’m gonna have to agree with the butt guy, this definitely has a huge taint on Microsoft’s legacy as a whole. I was planning on getting all of the Minecraft 360 editions dlc and avatar items but I don’t think I would want to do that now due to their greediness.

The system is 19 years old, with them closing the digital store in days, every game on there should have been $1 maximum, they're just digital copies you can't replace for a 19 year old console that if the hard drive goes on, you lose all of them. Shoot, they should have gave them out for free considering. But charging more than you can buy a physical copy (albeit used, but at least semi permanent) for, smh? Greedy A**holes is all they are. I've been an Xbox fan since '01, now I'm really considering jumping ship to Sony. To treat loyal consumers of your products like this is insulting, especially for non permanent, irreplaceable digital games (I say non permanent because no hard drive is likely to last forever, though you can back them up I suppose, but there isn't any replacing them if lost like a physical copy or current Gen digital....)

That “sale” was available a couple weeks ago and I downloaded Spyro. They just didn’t tell anyone, rather a TH-camr I follow (From the Void) notified of it so I snatched it up in case it was a mistake. Never did I think that was the actual 3rd sale 😖

What makes it weird is that when I did purchase their digital games, the timezone that I was able to pay it is from the London timezone, so if the london timezone turns 00:00am/12:00am London Summer Time, I have a feeling that's when it'll shut down and such.

I can't even purchase the games on the console because of the Xbox service is down. They say the engineers are trying to fix the issues as of right now. I modded my xbox 360 for like £35 a few years ago, it plays all xbox original games, not just a select few and all regions for xbox original and 360. I collect physical and install them with an external hard drive, most games are about 7gb so 1tb goes a long way, if you cant afford a copy of Splatterhouse for example borrow one and install or buy and sell on. Gonna switch to PlayStation 3 collecting, never get a bad disc on PS3 but 360 a lot look like poop 😊

I went on the 360 store on July 16th didn't find any games on sale. If there are games on sale they make it hard to find. I did find $5 avatar pets and stuff like. Look amazing but not spending that kind of money on them. When they should be free right now! 2$ avatar basic T-shirts to.

The only thing that TRULY worries me is that if some of these games will even work when the shut down starts. Like there are some games that I bought that WILL NOT WORK without Internet on the 360. How many of those games sold and people not knowing when the servers are down, those games were a waste of money and time.
The marketplace is going down. I doubt they'll shut down the servers, as that could screw with backward compatibility.
