Love it! How do you keep your natural nails strong while you wear gel or dipping powder? Mine seems to always be weak when I get either
That's really interesting! I find that my nail tech doesn't shave down my nail plate as much as other places have in the past. I wonder if that is a factor?

I think gel is much less on the nail. Whether or not that’s true, I’m not sure but when I do gel nails, I still feel like it looks more like my real nail bed vs. When I do dip powder, it feels thicker and more durable

I have natural almond shape dip powder nails and my left middle finger nail split as well😩 it was bleeding and I was so sad. I’m waiting for it to grow a little past the skin so I can get them done again🥺

I love your nails
I actually grow them by putting fake nails (dip powder extension or gel builder nails) because I used to pick and bite my nails. Having the artificial nail on top helps me to not touch them and let them grow. Once I have had on those nails for about 2-3 weeks, it grows out to about the same length that you see in this video and I just get a gel manicure or dip powder nails on my natural nails.
@@msjanetteok That's a really good idea. I do the same thing with my nails where I constantly am messing with them and pick at them. I'll try that, thank you!

Literally me! I hate broken nails especially when all my other nails look amazing :( but it was my fault because I picked at my dip nail and peeled it off and it split my nail.
