- A large Christmas tree outside Fox's Midtown headquarters was set ablaze by an arsonist who was quickly taken into custody.
The 50-foot tree on Sixth Avenue went up in flames just before 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Dramatic video shows how the fire spread to smaller trees in the same display.

This is exactly why I will not be visiting New York City for Christmas this year. First time in 14 years I’m not taking my daughters for a long weekend at the New York Palace Hotel to see all the Christmas stuff and shop. They are disappointed but with the amount of crime & assaults and all these covid mandates that my city and state doesn’t have, things are too crazy. And before the political bashing I’m a lifelong democrat. Plus I can’t carry my gun concealed with my AZ and PA permits in NY due to their restrictive gun laws for law abiding citizens. I’m not going anywhere right now in this crazy country where I can’t protect my family. I didn’t worry about it in the past. I’ll wait and see what this new guy mayor does and maybe return next year, but not holding breath. Doing a Christmas weekend in Hershey, PA, now we’re it’s safe for my family. Who knows may become our new family tradition.

Mental illness is at an all time high this Christmas Tree burning is just a prime example of many wild incidents that may occur due to a very deep illness which has swarmed the entire world. If the people are depressed the entire world will become depressed. The big expensive Christmas Tree represents wealth and family in which many people do not have such for the holidays in return the people will show the world their displeasure on so many different fashions.
