When it comes right down to it, in all honesty, the central purpose of the auctioneer is to "hypnotize" the bidders through the use of their mesmerizing chant, into bidding higher and higher (often exceeding their own bid limit) before they realize what they've just done (LOL)!
Feast your ears on this AWESOME professional; A true "Master" of his craft. I had the computer screen turned away and was listening from the other side of the room, when I found myself starting to sway, my eyes went half mast, and I started uttering bids from a semi-conscious state. The next thing I knew, I found my brother was shaking me by the shoulders back to awareness and saying, "hey! wake up! What the hell's going on?! You're supposed to be cleaning the fish tank. Dude, are you ok? You were zoned out for a minute."
    Yup, he's a true master.

Thanks for posting this and the other posts related to the contest. I look forward to the contest and the convention in 2018 at Dubuque, Iowa and at the Bloomington Livestock Exchange. This former Illinois resident is proud that two IL guys took the championship and the reserve championship plus the rookie award and the interview portion.

Brian sells at our local sale barn in IL and he is AWSOME to watch work. You can always expect your cattle to sell well and bring top money.
