"I have lived nearly fifty years, and I have seen life as it is. Pain, misery, hunger . . . cruelty beyond belief. I have heard the singing from taverns and the moans from bundles of filth on the streets. I have been a soldier and seen my comrades fall in battle . . . or die more slowly under the lash in Africa. I have held them in my arms at the final moment. These were men who saw life as it is, yet they died despairing. No glory, no gallant last words . . . only their eyes filled with confusion, whimpering the question, "Why?" I do not think they asked why they were dying, but why they had lived. When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Perhaps to be too practical is madness. To surrender dreams - this may be madness. To seek treasure where there is only trash. Too much sanity may be madness, And maddest of all, to see life as it is, and not as it should be!"
Even after playing it myself, this Canto still hits really hard, maybe even harder as an spectator than it did as I was playing it, since I was so focused on the gameplay to really process everything that happened and everything that was said. I really have to thank you for your gameplay, out of all the people who play Limbus that I know of, including between my friends, you might be the one who seems to care the most about glancing at every piece of the game and tries their best to engage with the mechanics and the lore. I really appreciate it.
Thank you for saying so!! Looking back I wasn't totally happy with my gameplay here (my mistakes always stick out at me!) so I appreciate hearing that. Project Moon is very big on communicating story details through gameplay so I never want to miss any of that! And your username is reminding me to go listen to Mountain of Faith's OST again :)
One of my favorite stories in fiction by far in recent times. I've been mostly playing things without story or just stories that are okay, nothing stellar, but this hit like a gut punch and made me feel so strongly that I've honestly been riding the high since I cleared it Thursday afternoon. The Project Moon writers truly are masters of their craft.
God, on this stream, when I watch at Sancho, I just want to say “Oh my God, sweetheart, don't cry”, and then I watch at Mafrei, and I want to comfort her too...
I played this with a headache, but I still enjoyed every single moment of it, wanted to bawl my eyes out, but stayed strong becausei the fever could've gone higher hahahaha
Hi Mafrei,I love your voice, your sensitivity, and everything about you! I’ve watched all of LoR (Star of the City~) and Limbus canto 4~7😈😈😈 From Japan, I sincerely wish you success and happiness. Keep up the great work!🫶🫶🫶 and I joined your membership
My little pet theory is that Limbus Don is the Don Quixote of Man of La Mancha while the real Don is Cervantes' Don. Ours had her spark rekindled by being reminded of the "impossible dream" by the other sinners much like muiscal Don . While the real one was eventually broken by the world and came to his sensess abandoning the so called dream. Having Don save Don by giving him hope again at the end is pure cinema.
Went back and watched this again. I just wanted to point out that it most likely wasn't Camille or Paula who betrayed Fanghunt since they were off doing their own thing away from the 3 main areas. It was probably just some generic Fanghunt grunt who turned traitor. Also, the Jack the Ripper case has definitely not been solved. That DNA analysis of the shawl has been around for ages and not only is the origin of the shawl dubious but the DNA analysis was done with mitochondrial DNA that could have matched hundreds of the people in London at the time. It can only be used to exclude suspects, not prove them and even the excluding part is questionable. I still think it was Charles Lechmere, not Aaron Kosminsky.
kinda annoying that every stream i go to, chat would always recommend going solo with Don. if you see this, dont mins it, just getting tired hearing it, just wanted to vent a little.
At first I was playing the Canto along you, was lucky in the beginning until the trio eradicated me and I had to go (a classic case of PM fan, can't read won't read), then I played again while watching the VOD. It amazes me how you check everything and ensure you fully understand enemy and lore each time, I try to do the same but utterly fail. Really amazed by how easily you dispensed the last three fights, and rewatching the final scene made me more emotional than doing it myself. (I actually didn't know you could hold the key, I also bashed repeatedly, but it made it more epic!) This Canto has been quite the ride. I don't think it has had an effect on me as much as 5 and 6 have, but I can relate with Don's past, fighting the person that has helped her stand up for their sake, trying to bring back the dream that they lost, and finding a new family. I think because of how hard these days have been on me the effect still needs to be fully absorbed, especially since watching the end of this VOD tugs at my heartstrings even more. I can fully relate with being my own enemy and my friend, and I hope one day I can catch a glimpse of my own dream again. Personal feelings aside, I wonder if we will get Don Quixote as Don Quixote in the upcoming IDs. I feel like ultimately he knew deep inside he was pushing Sancho toward having again hope for the dream she ended up caught in while listening to him and Bari, even more than asking her to come back and fulfill his own dream of La Manchaland. Although who knows, perhaps her continuing her journey with the Sinners could bring a sort of reconciliation between Bloodfiends and Humans. I wonder what Demian and Sanson are up to and their feelings towards Dante and the Sinners. Demian seemed to have helped Sinclair more when he dealt with his past, while Sanson seemed to have tried to push her in a more malicious manner (But I might be wrong). Looking forward to see what's gonna happen with Hong Lu's family in the next Canto, and of course the intermissions. And last but not least, what's Outis death count, and will she actually be able to beat the allegations? Thank you for the nice stream as always Maf Maf 💫

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Verily. I was blessed with a family of 12. And that was the hook, line and sinker of me crying like no tomorrow. This was so good.

Many tears were shed this part. Glad you enjoyed it.
I love the city that I live in

This makes me want to watch the Man of La Mancha even more! Would you mind if I asked you if you recommend any particular version here on youtube?

Finally our loyal Sancho the squire becomes Don Quixote the righteous knight.
Thankfully this channel was a thing
I wanted to take a screenshot of a specific dialogue but i acidentally clicked off 😭
Many thanks
4:24:49 lovely singing🥰
