Like we can tell Ryoshu was likely someone famous among the Syndicates and Faust is a part of an up-and-coming company that’s aiming to become a Wing, but we’ve got nothing on Meursault except that he was part of N Corp and he used to party hard.

Just a thing: you don't lose the exp points. They are converted to tickets accordingly, so if everyone is level 50, you'd get the same amount of exp you'd get, but stored as tickets.

I'm so interested that Outis ranked second, above Ryoshu, Heathcliff, Ishmael and Hong Lu (people I expected to rank higher). She's the most Mysterious sinner by far, and now we've been told that she's strong enough to compare to Ryoshu, someone who we've been given constant reminders of her strength and ability even before becoming sinners.

it's interesting that Rodya is somehow stronger than Heath and Fish, considering their backgrounds as fixer and syndicate bloke who's always ready to fight, so it adds to the theory that there is not everything that we have to Rodya's backstory

Very interesting and fun intervallo, lots of questions answered, every character was great, plenty of things being added to the overall story and them trying to mix the gameplay a bit was appreciated, even if it didn't end up being all that different; with the way the trailer was presented, was expecting more of a joke intervallo to fill the dead time between Cantos, really glad that it ended up being way more than that. Just a bit surprised Hong Lu still didn't get to have that much screen time, given that his Canto is coming up, guess we'll have to wait until Nocturnal Sweeping to make a real build-up for it.

I love how they're still able to make us laugh with Heathcliff reactions and atypical situations, the best part is that I can totally see him react like that and put on glasses, easily fitting in a group we wouldn't expect him to fit in. It was obvious Ishi wouldn't be chosen, but the reaction with that face of desperation still sends me every time it's used for comedy purposes. This intervallo so far has been really nice, both on the gameplay and story side!

The fight is much harder when using the "wrong" teams, but it's by no means unfair. This passive weakening mechanic happens multiple times during the fight, so you could disable all of his passives and get all the dialogue. It's a tough fight, but not unfair.

@pilzening2810 I don't know if you'll see this, but you mentioned something near the end of stream about one Faust translation you would recommend "above all others." I'm very interested.

1:13:00 Maybe you mean to ask how they work in some other way, but I think in Dante's notes it says that the EGO the Sinners use work by letting themselves take on the emotions and / or thoughts of the abnormalities almost to the point that the abnormality takes over, which lets them briefly use them, but it takes a toll on their sanity just to do so for a few seconds (I think there was some off-comment about this when they met the TLA in Canto IV, but it was very brief), of course, this would likely also mean that Dante is synchronizing the Abnormalities with the Sinners via his PDA like he does for the IDs, since I doubt they can just summon the Abno EGOs by themselves; I'd imagine for their own personal EGOs they work in a similar way, by channeling their thoughts and emotions to the point that they can almost cause an Effloresced / Manifested EGO, just without it being able to become a permanent thing or transform their bodies. (Otherwise they would manifest their own Effloresced EGO or Distort).

Hilariously, Sancho did NOT wake up from her delusion. Not until the final chapter of La Manchaland. She just fell into a delusion of despair as opposed to naivety. The delusion that nothing can be done, rather than everything can be done. Only when she realizes that she _can't_ do everything, but that doesn't give her an excuse to do *nothing,* has she truly opened her eyes.

This tier list was really nice! I listened to it while building some furniture, smiled multiple times hearing at first Through Patches of Violet (it's really fitting) and then the struggles with the voices. I kind of agree with the tierlist and the popular vote in particular, I'm surprised you ended up liking the Fury so much. I do appreciate the change as well and the 'redemption'/catharsis that they get in the new content compared to the usual violent unraveling or proper killing and that's it. I think it's because I kind of get drawn a lot toward more romantic/more talkative stories. I was really surprised seeing the Smitten's change in the last stream, but I appreciated that they added this change from just being a "LOVE TRIUMPHS OVER EVERYTHING" successful character too, because some relationships cannot just sustain themselves on a love that is blind to reason. It's something I myself think about from time to time with past relationships I dealt with. Speaking as someone that hasn't yet seen all the streams on new content you did while at my parents' place, but remembers relatively enough from the pre-pristine cut content, I think one reason Prisoner was appreciated was due to being easy to obtain as first princess, depending on your approach of course, but also one of those leaving a brutal impression on the situation: you get a princess that is collared and cannot simply escape by cutting her arms off. Once again, I don't know if this was changed in the Pristine Cut, but from memory you could either do as she wanted and cooperate, not cooperate and have her forcibly take the blade from you, and result in a single head or a wraith depending on your choice of abandoning or not (something I saw with the Razor and the single heart taken by one hand of the Shifting Mound). One _additional_ choice however has you examine the other chain and resulting in a much much different ending, which I won't write here in case you haven't checked it out yet (I should catch up once life frees itself again). All these variations which of course are present with other princesses too make for a compelling choice, and I assume many loved the prisoner both due to preference of it being the first, as well as giving so much to think about if you simply reload the save without continuing to another vessel. I still prefer those that end up with redemption and/or filled with love/hope/trust. I even had made a tierlist of which princess would survive if the vessels were put one against another (loving the idea of the apotheosis towering over the prisoner staring blankly and bored with the next scene being the apotheosis in Family Guy death pose and prisoner just sighing), I wonder if one day the developers will add an additional ending or connect it to the more romantic one because of those choices. I need to return to this video and re-enjoying, and Ogre is so relatable! Last but not least, very sorry to hear about the funeral, I'm very sorry for your loss, and wish all the best to you and family. It's not much, but we're all here for you if we can help in any way 🫂

Thank you so much for the stream! It's incredible to see how much the Pristine Cut has added to the game: the Fury originally would end just on the 'unwounding' and show a brutal ending, but here it keeps going relentlessly and the vessel is discussed as having undone herself. And the addition of the Damsel's consequences with Happily Ever After, it's a really interesting exploration of similar situations. I can't believe how Mittens ended up becoming so much more powerful beyond merely attaining slipping through chains and doors opening. I wonder if it's due to the fact this is ultimately 'A Story of Love'. When the Narrator started to hesitate, and asked "Are you sure?", I almost teared up at work. I really need to find all the vessels descriptions (which always break my heart most of the times) and revisit parts I missed, I realized just now that I didn't finish a past stream with more options. I think I will put a time on them to check on the princesses later on, if ok for you, as a comment. I feel bad that sadly I was exhausted and the time was too late for me, but it's been a really wonderful journey, and I really appreciated revisiting the game, discovering new things, checking with chat (which rarely spoilered if at all) what their choices and opinions were. It would be nice to have a discussion stream, I think the best tierlist would probably be a cabin tierlist (haha). For the princesses themselves I appreciated like you mentioned the Witch's path, which can develop into the Thorn (I discovered this MUCH later, I did not know the vessel existed at all), but I have to say it's lovely to see how they could develop love and a final scene together dancing under the stars with HEA. For sure my ranking will change with the Pristine Cut, I need to find my old posts on Reddit. I think a recording of MafreiNee(tm) playing the game would be nice, just like the Limbus one! this is what my dreams are like

I was wondering why we got full-stop for walp until the Limbus-friends ran into the OG blue man group leader, then I clicked for me all walps have something in common in the Lob corp ones we deal with ordeals byproducts of people who failed to turn into full abnos with C-woman juice. On the LoR side, we got a fairy queen as part of floor realization aka Angela corroding. Then Phil manifests ego and lastly the first appearance of Blue sicko who ends up leading a group of distortions. It all leads back to the big C-woman!

I can't wait for the Hong Lu Blue Reverb and Eileen Sinclair. Wonder who from the Ensamble will be who.
