I’m pretty sure the economy was bad under the Soviet Union too? The problem that made Russia worse was the fact that Yeltsin tried to give the economy an electric shock, which hurt.

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union on December 26, 1991, China has emerged as the largest communist country and has been able to survive until now because it has been able to adapt to the times and learn Soviet Union's mistake

Actually they aren’t true dirty commies still bad but they have a communist social system and a capitalist economy because true communism can only exist on paper it’s infeasible also they blatantly disregard human rights (ie the current muslim genocide )

Not true in the slightest, one of the biggest reasons the ussr was continual military spending increasing to compete with the west rather than focusing on consumer goods, leading to economic stagnation.
China adopted more capitalistic principles under Deng an has been increasing its military spending

@@OCCUPANTNMB1they are communist, they encourage children to rat out their parents if they speak against the government and send those people to "reeducation camps". The Soviet Union was a socialist state that existed from 1922 until its dissolution in 1991. The Soviet Union was initially known as the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic and was formed after the Russian Revolution of 1917. The country was governed by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU) and was led by a series of leaders known as Premier or First Secretary.
The Soviet economy was largely state-controlled and was based on a system known as central planning. The government controlled all major industries and resources and made decisions about production levels and distribution of goods and services. This system was designed to prioritize the needs of the state and the welfare of the people.
The Soviet Union was also a major military power and was involved in several conflicts, including World War II. The Soviet army was one of the largest in the world and was equipped with a large arsenal of nuclear weapons. The country also had a significant impact on global politics and was involved in the Cold War, a prolonged period of political and military tension between the United States and the Soviet Union.
The Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991 following a period of economic and political turmoil. The collapse of the Soviet Union led to the formation of several new independent states, including Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Today, the legacy of the Soviet Union continues to be felt in many parts of the world, particularly in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The Afton family is a central part of the lore in the Five Nights at Freddy's series, a popular horror video game franchise developed by Scott Cawthon. The Afton family is at the heart of the sinister events that take place at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a fictional restaurant in the game.

William Afton is a central antagonist in the series. He is depicted as a mysterious and malevolent figure who is responsible for a series of gruesome and criminal acts, including murder and tampering with the animatronic characters. His twisted actions have led to the creation of the animatronic antagonists that players must contend with in the games.
William Afton's children, Michael and Elizabeth, are also deeply connected to the events at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Michael serves as a significant character in the series, and his actions play a crucial role in the unfolding of the game's narrative. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Afton's tragic fate is a pivotal part of the storyline, particularly in the game "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location."
Throughout the series, the Afton family's turbulent history is gradually revealed, shedding light on the origins of the animatronic characters and the eerie happenings at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The lore surrounding the Afton family has captivated fans, who eagerly speculate and uncover the intricate details of the family's dark legacy.
In the game's lore, the Afton family's story is characterized by tragedy, loss, and a pervasive sense of dread. The complex relationships between the family members and their connections to the malevolent forces at work in the game's universe contribute to the overall sense of unease and horror that permeates the series.
Fans of the games have delved deep into the lore surrounding the Afton family, piecing together clues and unraveling the intricate web of mysteries that define the series. The family's legacy is a central aspect of the game's storytelling, adding depth and complexity to the overarching narrative.
Overall, the Afton family lore in the Five Nights at Freddy's series is a compelling and integral part of the game's universe. Their story is shrouded in darkness and tragedy, serving as a haunting backdrop to the terrifying events that unfold at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. As players delve into the mysteries of the Afton family, they uncover a rich and unsettling tale that adds depth to the series' chilling atmosphere.

What do you mean by socialist? It was “Communism”. (By the quotations I mean that they acted like it was communism but they did nothing to establish a society where all were equal so technically the Soviet Union once Stalin came around was: Stalinism a form of communism where the leader of the country runs everything and controls *literally* everything.)

The Soviet Union may fall, but we have achieved one of the most important goals. We have kindled the fire of communism in human souls and human minds. This fire of Equality and Brotherhood of Peoples will sooner or later engulf the whole world and warm all mankind. And then all people on Earth will be able to live in peace and friendship and build our common future.
And I also believe that humanity is now beginning to reach such a level of self-consciousness that capitalism will be replaced by communism without large-scale conflict. One day, people will just see what's best for them.
Perhaps one of our most important achievements is that we helped to establish a socialist China. I really like their methods of peacefully expanding their influence. Glory to Humanity.

Vladimir Putin (former KGB member and incumbent Russian president) was right about the fact that collapse of the USSR was the greatest geopolitical catastrophy.
End of the Soviet Union has caused different wars (for example Transinistria war 1993, Chechen wars 1994-2008), Karabakh wars, Tajik Civil War and so on). It took a whole decade for post-Soviet nations to stabilize their economies and political situation in general, although yet in some countries conflicts are still ongoing.
It is truly sad that Gorbachev has failed to reform the Wastern Bloc for good. If he'd succeed, it'd be quite possible for a democratic Union state to exist.
Although I support freedom of many nationalities, it's quite sad that politics kill millions.

@@ThatLegoBeagle Umm you forgot the Nazis like the Butcher of Lyon who escaped due to Americans. And then the Unit 731 scientists were spared despite their horrific works. And then they had the Nazi rat lines. And then they staged a coup in Chile, supported pakistan's genocide in Bangladesh, refused to help a dying Soviet Union that already declared it is not interested in fighting any cold war and instead helped the Separatists, the bombing of Cambodia, the Vietnam War which technically was another invasion, and then funding the Mujahideen (led by Osama bin Laden) in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets. And then the US supported Democratic Kampuchea (present-day Cambodia), a State that murdered 25% of its population in the 4 years of its existence, and then condemned Vietnam for liberating Kampuchea and let its dictator, Pol Pot die in peace. And then the US engaged in other coups too and also attempted to destabilize and attack India during the Bangladesh Liberation War, even though Pakistan was the one to bomb India and start the war. And the US was fundamental to the rise of the PRC, which in my opinion is a bigger threat to the world order and world peace today than America ever was.
In my opinion the USSR and the US were equal on morals. What the USSR committed under Stalin and the Soviet authoritarianism was rivalled by America's subsequent interventions in foreign lands. In terms of quality of life for its citizens, both are equal. The USSR had less inequality, the US had less corruption.

Soviet’s have economic problems. After Stalin comes economy are fall. Because Stalin scared to get down with force. Political paranoia was started. Stalin tell lies for people. There was so much hunger in the Ukrainian region that people turned to cannibalism. However, after traveling around that region, a writer denied the allegations of starvation in her writings in order not to betray Stalin. The Soviets' troubles were concentrated on the military rather than the economy. There was a problem throughout the country. They declared those who expressed problems that they did not want to hear as traitors and executed them. In other words, the real reason for the collapse of the Soviets was not the lands; administration, economy and exaggerated political pressure.
