And I also believe that humanity is now beginning to reach such a level of self-consciousness that capitalism will be replaced by communism without large-scale conflict. In my opinion the USSR and the US were equal on morals. What the USSR committed under Stalin and the Soviet authoritarianism was rivalled by America's subsequent interventions in foreign lands. In terms of quality of life for its citizens, both are equal. The USSR had less inequality, the US had less corruption.
In this world you either adapt or die. The Soviets failed to adapt so died. Alongside the failed invasion of Afghanistan
