They cover Beatles tracks so well. They retain what was great about the original while adding something else of their own to it which very few people seem to be able to do.
Nice job w/ the camera! I saw them in Felton & Sacramento this month.... As usual, they tore it up! Thankfully they did Hold Me Tight at the Sac show. Thanks for this!
OMG, you capture that song perfectly! Nice and raw, jangly and energetic. Great harmonies, too. I heard the Beatles quit putting that one on their set list because it was too demanding to play and sing.
Don't listen to them. If you do they only liked about 3 songs. Nobody rubbished the Beatles like the Beatles. Truth is, no band came even close to them.
Whoa there, hold on grasshopper! Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Superb cover...most definitely. Better than the Beatles, arguably the greatest rock band in history,...I don't think so.
@@aluffarb Sorry, but the Twigs' version of this song is far superior to the the "Meet the Beatles" recording, and not just because the original was in mono. There are subtle changes in harmonies and presentation here. The devil is in the details. The Beatles were THE greatest rock bank in history, but that doesn't mean there aren't versions of their songs out there that are better than the originals.
@@aquaritone9541 The "Subtle changes in harmonies and presentation" you mention are purely due to the fact that this is a LIVE version, The Beatles version you are comparing it to was a studio recording. This is an absolutely fantastic cover and is actually 100% faithful to the original arrangement...but when people come along and immediately start making comparisons, particularly between a live recording and a studio recording, what's the point?
not agreeing or disagreeing but is there footage of the Beatles playing this live? I dont think so. LOVE this cover. such good energy and a great choice for a live Beatles cover.

Any Beatles song is ridiculously superior to anything else we'll ever hear ! Pretty good job this 👍
brilliant filming of a great cover of an underrated classic!
You nailed the vocal harmonies. Well done. Sounds great all round.
Great cover of a great song!

¡Que estupendo cover! A la altura de los genios Beatles. 👏👏👏👏
The Twigs are my new favorite band.❤

This guy needs to play McCartney in the new Beatles films set for 2027 ✊
Both of them do have a background in theatre so one could be Paul and one John

Just read that neither John or Paul liked this song.
