Bro the M Performance mats and the steering wheel look amazing! What a transformation of the interior and can't wait for more goodies❤💪🏻
Fitted the alcantara M Performance wheel, carbon shifter cover, pedals and mats to mine before it went away for winter storage. Feel the exact same about the blue strip on the steering wheel - especially as I fitted red M1/M2 and start buttons, it's a little out of place.
Also have custom laminated carbon dash/door trims to fit when I pick the car back up in Spring too. Nice subtle mods to the interior.
I have the same steering wheel on my M4, super easy to keep clean. I love it 100%

ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE MESSING WITH THE AIR BAG!
You did the right thing when disconnecting the battery before messing with the airbag, the airbag is a piece of explosives and should be treated as such. If you get in the way of an airbag and it goes off, that can kill you.

The heads-up display should be blurred to lol. You can see how fast you're going there. I can tell that m5 can handle real good in those curves with the speed you were going.

My husband got me some WeatherTech mats, but I really liked the M performance you showed, so checked their mats but don’t fit the x7... Ugh 😩.
With three kids, it’s a must to have plastic mats.

You could also get the blue stop start button. And the blue M1 And M2 buttons. I have it on my car, they look well with the blue stripe. Very cheap upgrade from Ebay.

very clean car bro! just my personal opinion: the contrast between matte finish of the alcantera wheel and the glossy finish of the carbon fiber trim piece looks off to me. The OEM leather wheel with more of a satin finish looks a lot better with the carbon fiber trim piece.

Duuuude love the floor matts. Keep seeing these diamond cut leather ones which cover the whole fkoor and part of the centre trim. They look good in photos but cheesy in person.

Definitely not how it's supposed to be. It's a quick fix at any alignment place.
To save that condition of steering wheel you should also wear alcantara gloves. Sweat from hand realy badly damage alcantara :(

Never understood the need for Alcantara steering wheels. They're intended for super cars. Since most of the super cars are not daily driven

@15:00 Dude, go get an alignment done. Steering should be dead on straight! Had similar issue on my daily, thought it was nothing - destroyed the front tires in no time. On my BMW it bothered the hell out of me before alignment.
I definitely mentioned that in the video lol
you don't need to take the steering wheel anywhere to get it re-aligned.... just pop the airbag of and the nut holding the steering wheel off...... at the area where the steering wheel meets the steering column, there should be some clearly marked groves on both the steering wheel and the steering column.... line those up and your steering wheel should lock on dead center.... if you need more info, check out Tommy L Garage's TH-cam channel on how to upgrade the steering wheel... he nicely lays out the instructions....

The Carbon fiber matches nothing inside the car 🤷 personally haven’t liked carbon fiber since my 20’s/honda civic days. I would never ever sacrifice my heated wheel even living in Florida.
Literally never use use that function. Meaningless to me. You can keep the Alcantara wheel and install the original trim as well.
Honestly that wheel looks hela Chinese and cheap. Standard M-wheel is way better.
