These were fun cars! I drove an 89 sho many times. You could drive it conservatively but, it could get up and go!

Even now in the year 2016, going on 2017, the original SHO is still the best of its type. Its so mad that it would lunch automatic transmissions, and dance with things available even now.

I rememeber when these cars first came out.. car caused a gathering at the local car show.. guy here pulled off a 0-60 in 6.8 seconds yet he spun the tires for 3 seconds!
I also remember the 5L of the day being slightly faster to 60 mph than the SHO but the SHO ate the fastest Camaro of that day

Pretty interesting, I like the review.
I've heard that a hand, parking brake can be bought from Australia. IDK who Ford gets their advice from on stuff like this. I can't stand that parking brake.

Does that go for the LX's and GL's too or just the SHOs?
@BJtheBassist That's because American motorists are considered "unsophisticated". Why in Jesus' name would I want my sports sedan to be configured like a pickup???
American Automakers spent a great deal of the last 30 years "asleep"?

Do you think that the 1984-85 Ford LTD LX 5.0 was better than this Taurus SHO? Because, the 5.0 was what made the LTD LX the hottest in that class.
