Agreed, this is the best science fiction show ever. Amazon, please don't cancel this show after season six. The books are awesome and this show is an amazing adaptation of the books. It deserves to be completed. See it through and tell the whole story.
Holden will forever be Holden and Naomi will forever be Naomi. He’s in love with a strong woman who’s battling being with an earther and being a belter. Obviously she’ll need help and will think about this conversation
Definitely a bummer, but I'm happy that they know going into it that they need to bring it to a satisfying conclusion. That's going to be a lot less painful that an unplanned ending that leaves everyone hanging. Hopefully Amazon will create more science fiction shows in the same vein,
NPC_Virus season six would actually be a good place to end it, assuming it ends where book 6 ends. With out spoiling thing too much, there is a 30 year time skip between the end of book 6 and the beginning of book 7. So unless they want to pretend to significantly age up the entire cast to their 60s and 70s it seems appropriate to end it there. Maybe we'll get a spinoff instead.

But don’t just rush it to a premature ending. Game of Thrones tried that and look how that went. There isn’t even the excuse of not having the source material. Plus it’s been one of your most viewed shows.
Plus the authors did say there is a possibility of a continuation in the form of a show or movies in the future..there is a time jump in the books anyway
I am of the belief that they writers of the show knew going into season 5 that 6 seasons is all they would get, and plotted the show accordingly. A few things from the trailer and clips released lead me to believe that they are bringing some stuff from the later books ahead into season 5.
Yeah, definitely. I saw another preview clip in which they pursue the protomolecule storyline, which is great. It annoyed me so much that in book 5 and 6 they simply ignore the overall story arc completely.
Right. She sounds unappreciative and condescending of a person that gives so much and cares so much for her. She could have explained it better he wasn't being mean, it's understandable if she gotta go alone but why so mean to a person who cares for you.
I don't think she's pushing him away here so much as she's requesting he give her space to handle a situation that needs to be done alone. Holden's an extremely loyal and protective guy and I don't think he was doing long enough to actually listen to what she was telling him she needed.
She should have kept the mowhawk. Her bringing in her personal dislike just because of a hairstyle affecting how the character was written is really selfish.
It did not make any sense to me. I never "bought" this in the books. I think this is solved way better here. It really shows the trust and the strong bond between the two.

And I can't believe a Holden that doesn't get involved, in this case.

The last 2 episodes were pretty nice love the alien stuff though there could have been more in that regard, agree with seasons 1-3 especially 1 my personal fav, they spent too much time on the Avasarla arc was pretty whatever, and the whole Belter stuff and Bobbie didn't make sense to me though I loved getting to know more about Mars.
One of the things I really love about Nemesis Games is that Naomi goes off on her own to see Filip. She's right: Holden can't help her on this one.

i guess the time jump is a little too much in terms of logistics, we may however see that trilogy in the future

The TV show is ending. That doesn't mean the rest of the series won't be adapted. Miniseries or movies, they've got SOMETHING planned.
