    Flames and chrome always make things go faster! 😂
    As a Certified Firefighter, I am more than impressed with your 'stylized' flames (your words). People very seldom realize that flame really is a living breathing thing. If can go from the gentle 'campfire' flame (which is what I would consider these as... they remind me of a lazy reaching flame that breaks off wisps and embers), to the 'romantic' fireplace flames that carry more energy from the increased airflow, all the way to the angry, wind driven, raging inferno that can create its own weather pulling in enough air to put a blast furnace to shame.
    I am actually fascinated by airbrushing and I'm considering actually trying it after watching a lot of your videos. If I do, I'll let you know how it goes!

      Thank you for your comment and I agree everything moves faster with flames lol, appreciate the fire breakdown and good luck if you do give the airbrush a go , I am sure you will do amazingly 👌🏻👊🏻

      K1SFD Hello from Ramona California just like to say airbrush asylum is the best for learning to airbrush, stencils and equipment as well, I’ve been watching Oz spray his magic on canvas gas tanks fenders etc. I jump around TH-cam to find the best teacher well I found Oz in Australia go figure he’s the best I’ve found, been collecting quite a few of his how too videos which I plan on putting my twist on it my hot rod will be my canvas instead of my walls doors toolboxes, after I finish the rear suspension will break out my airbrushes, for a bit of artwork, fenders around door-handles, etc.he is the best. Also thank you your service fire is no joke God bless you sir.🕶

    Man, I’ve watched this and the other real flame videos a dozen or so times as sort of a tutorial and it’s helped this old guy get back into painting. I only have the Iwata Eclipse right now but really want the micron. Gotta save my pennies.... hope you get to the states (preferably the East Coast as I’m in Virginia) soon and teach some classes.....Thanks for posting all of your videos, they are very informative and a source of inspiration.

      Thank you glad you enjoy the content on this channel, the eclipse is a great brush I know artists who primarily use that and are able to create details just as fine as the Micron, it’s all in the paint, psi and control, if you do end up getting a Micron you won’t be disappointed 👌🏻

    Stellar work man. Your understanding of how to create a 3d visual effect is amazing. Just found this as I am researching about how to airbrush rc car bodies. Which brings me to my question... so we take clear bodies and paint the inside so it shines through the clear lexan or similar plastic. So its all done in reverse. You typically start with dark colors ending with light colors but how would you explain how the same effects you have created would be created in a reverse fashion? If that question even makes sense??? Either way... this content is amazing! Thank you for your work and tutorials!!!

    House of Colors Candy's are transparent and the more layers you make with the white flames it would look 3d and then shoot pagan gold and next apple red

    Try using white urethane auto paint and use the stencil and then use House of Colors Candy's Candy apple Red And Pagan Gold use the colors over the white flames that you made with the stencil and it cuts time in a half I've been airbrushing for 32 yrs

    Hey Carsten these are the best water based flames Ive seen. I was just curious if maybe when you get a chance you could possibly do another true fire tutorial with a little bit of explaining what or how youre using the tips of your template there with the red on youre first layer and how you decide when youre first layer is good. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos teaching us they help us newbies so much! P.S that 3 headed Dragon you did is amazing I watched part 1 twice already about to go watch part 2! Its coming out amazing like all of your artwork!! By the way how many years behind the airbrush do you have Sir? Curious to know how you began airbrushing also and Did you already Draw or Paint prior to picking up the airbrush? Thanks Mate and Have a great rest of youre week!

      Thanks really appreciate your comment and glad you liked this vid and you enjoyed the ‘three headed dragon’ vids as well. Great tip re another fire vid, I’ll keep it in mind. And to answer your other question I have been airbrushing since ‘97 and I have always drawn especially skulls lol I used to draw them on my schoolbooks from around grade 6 onwards...may need to do a vid covering my background and how I got started at some stage ? Cheers all the best 👍🏻

    I absolute love your videos and learn so much. I do have problems though. I am in south africa and even attempting to find items used is problematic. I have tried multiple places but no luck. There is nothing such as the transfer chalk paper, eraser pensils etc. Where can I get some items without it costing an arm and a leg. I have tried substitutes that are similar and easier to find here but as airbrushing is not widely practiced here the substitute items just give grey hairs lol. Any info you can give me on how to search and where would be greatly appreciated. Even the colours widely used by you guys are extremely difficult to get hold of.

    Hi Mate, just getting into airbrushing, bought a Badger 105 and a ruck of Createx Wicked Colors, could you, or have you done a video on the process each time you change colour, for example i start of with red then want to go to white, orange etc but i can`t find any decent tutorial video`s explaining the process of going from one colour to another, how to flush it out and all that, cheers. UK here by the way. Claypole.

    So these are considered realistic flamea?

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Real Fire is not intended to be a photorealistic representation yet a style of fire which I regularly get asked to airbrush on automotive substrates like motorcycles and cars, if you wish to see a fantastic ‘photorealistic’ painting of fire then check out Dru Blair’s work he specializes in photo realism and one of his class room in a box kits could help you paint a more realistic fire rendering 👍🏻

    When are you gonna explain how to make the flames? You're just showing you painting flames and not explaining the shapes and the shading of the flames assuming that everyone is on your level. Your work is outstanding but your lessons are lacking. Explain the shapes you come up with and how to shade them to look like real fire.

    You arent really telling how to make the flames, but rather assuming that a beginner can follow an expert work. Bad tutorial
