Here's a recommendation for another well known undertale series. It's called Underverse (there's also a mini series called X-tale, kind-of-a-prequel to the actual series) - this series kinda explores the undertale multiverse the fandom has created

Not only are they both great undertale related shows, but the creator of Underverse is friends with Camila, and the sound effect designer and composer for both shows are the same people. So honestly it feels like a crime not to watch both but that's just me.
At the end Hate for the first time felt regret why well we don’t have any confirmation as for my own theory we all remember why Chara is one of main the protagonists of Glitchtale the other is Asriel of course but… We’re forgetting someone who had chosen to [REPLACE] themselves were unable to save Asriel from the Hate but they knew who could, The Promise of {Chara} & { £ ₽ į ß l< }.

a very neat detail that no one's talking about is when undyne threw the spear.
If you've been following the storyline a lot, you'll understand the reference, and notice how Undyne in that moment finally surpassed her fear, doing an action that she struggled doing before because of it leading to alphys's death.
It's a pretty cool detail that is pretty fore shadowed on the moment, but it's also a great thing to add. The attention to details in this was truly astounding. Thanks a lot Camila for all the work you've done for us, and for blessing us with this masterpiece. We couldn't be happier.

I didn't think about it at first, but now that I realise- I'm really proud of her. It's never easy to get over things like that.

just to prevent false asumptions. if you have watched season 2 so far, this here will make sense: pink and hate were fused together. that means: even all the memories. pink said that monsters could never live with humans together. it was pinks hate that lived on for so long.
the reason why pink/hate didnt attack at the end, is because they realised after seeing chara and asriel together, that humans and monsters CAN live together.

That's not what happened lmao. Hate has nothing to do with Betty or "pink" the reason why it died was because it simply gave up. Camila said that the reason hate gave up is not yet revealed, but WILL be revealed very later on, and it will be the saddest part of glitchtale.

Guys. The Scene At The End With Gaster Is NOT The Prequel. If It WAS The Prequel, He Wouldnt Have Those Two Scars Above And Below His Eye. As The Prequel Takes Place BEFORE The Human And Monster War. And Yes, He Is Suffering From Mental Insanity. The Shadow Behind Him Is Himself, Well, Atleast Himself From The Void. His Past/Void Self Still Looms Over Him. Literally. So You Know How He Couldnt Remember His Time In The Void, Well, That Scene With The Mirror, I Think Its Slowly Coming Back To Him. The Mirror Is A Representation Of His Sanity. The Cracking Represents His Sanity, And His Sanity Is Well, Literally Cracking.

I mean, Gaster has been shown to have constant bags under his eyes, he could just be really tired
Theory time. That red magic. The hollow image of an upright human soul. The sword. As it fought, Hate's appearance kept changing, and it had an almost shell around it. When I was watching this myself, I kept expecting the shell to eventually shatter revealing Frisk as the one fighting them. It never happened, and it was never said, but between it using red magic, having that soul image carved on it, and using Frisk's signature weapon, I almost feel like that might have been Frisk. Would also be why Hate seemed to give up at the end. In the sheer instant that it could have won, it could have killed Chara and than Asriel right there, but it stopped. For all the hatred and anger, it couldn't actually do it. That act of self sacrifice might have woken Frisk back up inside, and they stopped, realized what they were doing, and let it end
That theory sounds interesting but camila has already confirmed that it’s not frisk. Also the reason it has determination is from chara.
I think Hate gave up because its purpose (which lives up from Agate's) is to see humans and monsters unable to live together, but no matter how hard it tried, humans and monsters seem to team up together even more and more. Chara protecting Asriel is the final string that disproves its purpose, and thus it just gave up like that.

My thought was that it just found it pointless to continue. The wiki says Hate was attempting to take Asriel down with it, so clearly it knew it was dying, it wasn't trying to save itself using Asriel or anything. But then Chara stepped in and I assume in its weakened state Chara would be too much for Hate, so it just, gave up.
But that's just my view, hopefully we'll get to know more about Hate in the prequels.
I think zalzar is the only one who give his true reaction since the first season of glitch tale.

I believe the hate didn't attack cause it used to be a part of Chara and has a connection and that's why it stopped.
Honestly, she outdid herself this episode.
It didn't have the will to hurt someone who bonded with it so well in the first place. At that point- hate had just given up, it knew there was nothing else it could do to win.
I think when Hate reformed at the forest pit, he fully became a person. When the slashes get thrown, you can see the FEAR in his eyes (emotion not soul trait). You can't have emotions without being a person. So hate just wanted revenge for being abandoned and forgotten, just like Gaster. I think at the end Hate gives up and it almost seems like he is CRYING just before he disintegrates.
I have seen a few theories of after frisk being ERASED and replaced by chara, their soul of determination was consumed by hate, creating this HATE a being, which is why it stopped at the end.

@@-Im-possible I think this is completely right, I wouldn't be surprised if Chara is the determination member, Asriel as the monster member, and an unnamed traitless woman. It seems to me like a sizable portion of the plot of season 3 is going to be traitless humans not having the same rights as humans with soul traits and the tension that caused. For example, on the Determino council, which has been around since the prequels we will see in season 3, had no spot on the council for a traitless human. The only thing is Chara and Asriel might not be on the council proper, but they probably serve as ambassadors between humans and monsters still, maybe...
Her inclusion was the show that the council, and society as a whole, has started to view traitless humans as equal to those with traits.

I'll provide some explanation for the HATE fight that were said both in Camila's live stream before the premiere and also stuff in the Discord after the episode:
HATE isn't one trait, it adapts to all other traits that used it. That's why it shifts to different soul colors. It uses Chara's special hell attack, Ronan's powerful bullets, Betty's hallucination abilities (last episode) and their shapeshifting hand weapons, and other users we could see in other colors.
It's using inverted versions of those traits because inverted traits are just darker versions of the normal thing like how dark orange was Fear while it was originally Bravery. (And fun fact: Inverted Justice is called Corruption, as seen with Ronan. Also, Determination has no inverse.)
Now as for why HATE even gave up, it's still extremely vague as we don't have the full picture, but what we do know is that it took the form of the first Determination user Irral, along with his weapon of the greatsword. This is just a guess but perhaps HATE saw Chara as Irral's successor, someone who matched his great power.
I think the other inverted soul traits are:
Cruelty(kindness)
Apathy(perseverance)
Agitation(patience)
Dishonesty(integrity)
Corruption(justice)
And of course fear(bravery)

Really surprised no one pointed out hate’s abilities mimicked chara’s abilities from season 1
I surprised that azzy and chara were able to beat "it", i mean, "it" is chara's hate from season 1, as seen when gaster was checking jessica's cameras of the border being broken, from when chara "died" when azzy hugged him and started to crumble, meaning it contains all of chara's determination, including the determination from the souls he absorbed.
But it's all Frisk's Hate

I don't know the real answer, but when hate just gave up, I took it as Chara's self sacrifice was the ultimate act of love that not even hate could defy. That's how I saw it anyway.
I believe hate gave up because it saw Chara who HATED Azzy in season 1 risk their life for Azzy showing to Hate that all the HATE used back then is gone and it realized it's no use to continue to fight

it kinda just makes sense for hate to be frisk after all, considering frisk is literally the only other person in this universe with DT like that. it wouldn't make sense for hate to randomly just turn into determination like that
So, unfortunately, while I see the arguments, and believed this theory myself for a while, Cami has confirmed that it’s not Frisk. There’s also a solid theory that Hate has the power of anyone it’s ever possessed, so the DT is likely from Chara’s time in S1.

Fun Fact : Camila’s Glitchtale Series is the first Undertale Fan Made AU I watched and the thing that pulled me into the Undertale fandom. I am glad that I was able to watch Glitchtale and grow up with it. I’ve been there when Cami uploaded every episode and I’ve watched the Undertale Fandom grow so much as well. I’m so happy the Camila is the one that introduced me into Undertale. Props to Cami.
It really is something else when you put Camila’s first Glitchtale animations of Frisk vs Sans and this side to side. Her ability to animate evolved and improved so much over the last 5 years or so that she was making this animations

That version of Asriel- what I belive- is called "God of HyperDeath".
I Have two theories, one being hate is Frisk, due to Frisk also having hate after the genocide route, which fled once monsters were released. And the second theory is that once hate was dying it was shown humans and monsters can live in peace, causing maybe some remience of Amber/Betty to somewhat come back or those were frisks' eyes, maybe one of those three gave up after being forced into doing something they didn't want to do.

1. What's a Frisk? (Frisk has been completely deleted from this world, and it is as if he never existed)
2. The reality to what happened with the Chara protecting Asriel scene cannot be predicted with the information given so far (my brother's a diamond, so I know lol.)
Wait a moment, I think I know what's up with HATE at the end. It's partly Agate, hear me out. During the Black Beast prequel video, it's shown that Agate hated the idea of freeing the monsters because she didn't know if they could live in peace. Long story short, Betty was derived from Agate after using that forbidden spell to invert her trait so, what if, at the end of HATE's fight against Chara and Asriel, we see the last remaining shard of Agate peacefully letting go of her own hate after she sees how Chara and Asriel, human and monster, can indeed live in peace together, just as her brother Copper said and she let go of that resentment after realising her brother was right all along? Just a theory but I think it's plausible.

Remember where the hate origniated from. Chara and as such it was still hate that had such a strong aggression against asriel. thats why you constantly saw it glaring or aiming for him. At the end it gave up cause as it was shown no matter what hatred or struggle thrown at chara and asriel , chara still cared enough to protect asriel even at the end. It saw forgiveness through eventhing and was a peace in the end.
Again, the Hate originally came from Frisk, Frisk only threw the Hate at Chara.
(But of course, that backfired.)

Did anyone notice where bete noire and chara fought was actually the place frisk fought with bete?
I'm pretty sure the Wizard Council consists of Toriel's students (including the sister of the boy who sacrificed himself to save her from one of Bete's blobs), Hugo (Ronan's son), Chara, and Asriel. As far as Gaster and Papyrus go, Papyrus had no idea Gaster was his dad as the only people who remembered who Gaster truly was is Asgore and Sans, the reason being that his existence was practically erased when he died originally. I also don't know if Papyrus truly understood what Gaster implied in saying he wanted to speak from a father to his son. In the credits Rave and Hugo were playing Smash Bros and Hugo was clearly getting his destroyed. As far as the after credits go I think it either has to do with Gaster being haunted by his past or there is still Hate left, because the thing is in the Glitchtale lore hate cannot be destroyed, only created. Either way, I can't wait to see Gaster and Asgore in their primes, Gaster looks arrogant as hell and I love it.
Actually, Cami said that the city that S2 takes place in is the only city that had stopped using magic. Every other city already had wizards

It might be a little far fetched but I think that the form hate went into was somehow connected to Copper. I say this because of the almost unique design and size of its sword, the skill it showed with sworfighting and determination, and how it looked at Asriel almost like it's seen him before. I think hate saw Asgore in Asriel. I also think it gave up because it saw how a human went to protect a monster and Copper was promonster so it would make sense. I'm probably wrong though 😄

Wait big brain theory in the beginning of glitchtale frisk moved in the way of sans and since this hate is originally frisks it remembers that moment and it reminded them of it letting it give up
Could you maybe do a video of you reading the Scorned Vigilants? It's a written story based during the time Glitchtale Season 3 is in (it's not spoiling season 3, just adding to it). A while ago you read the Masquerade Party so it would be fun having you react to this one as well
Quick theory/thoughts post. During the last fight with hate, I have not noticed, yet, anyone mention the fact that hate had this obsession with wanting to kill Asriel during the fight. I think it`s because it`s Chara`s hate. This is the hate from all those genocide runs that went into Chara and slowly consumed him and fed off of his hatred towards Asriel and their failed plan to free monsters. When hate went for Asriel in the end, I think hate stopped because Chara, in that moment, let go of that hatred. Because it couldn`t be that hate just didn`t want to hurt Chara, since it was already trying to harm him. I think hate stopped because that hatred was finally let go and Chara forgave Asriel and was willing to sacrifice his life for his brother that he cared about so much. Actually, you should've noticed HATE's want to _not_ kill Asriel. When Asriel and Chara begin fighting together, notice the choreography:
_Asirel attacks_
_HATE blocks_
_Chara attacks_
_HATE counterattacks_
_Asriel attacks_
_HATE knocks Asriel away_
_HATE attacks Chara_
The reason for which will probably be revealed in season 3 (my brother's a Diamond, so I already know lol)

my theory is that hate remembered of the times that she was human and was protected
this monster was a first owner of determination but when he lost his frend his heatred was growing up and infecting the other users of traits end of story
Papyrus while talking to gaster looked down at his hands, at that point we saw he was wearing mittens, and when gaster grabbed his hands, he was wearing more akin to red rubber gloves or something, like arm length gloves.
Not complaining, but it was a subtle detail i saw, and could be intentional, cause in the first scene, he was beating himself down for not being a fighter or stronger, or having a blood lust.
But when gaster grabbed his hands and gae him the speech, he made papyrus realize what his true power and strength was...so maybe that was intentional.
i think that hate was a corrupted version of frisk, remember that all the hate we have seen so far, came from frisk, it was all hers, she used it on chara, akumu used it on himself and betty, and now that there is nobody controlling it, that hate was just frisk, well it was the corrupted version of her that created it, it hated chara and asriel so much because it wanted what they had, a true friend that would NEVER doubt them, despite frisk being in the surface and having her happy ending, she didn't have what chara and asriel had, Sans didn't trust her, despite him acting like he did, toriel was still banged up over her issues with Asgore, Asgore had his problems, papyrus had his, and everyone else had they own troubles to deal with, Asriel, despite being frisks friend, frisk was never to him what chara is, and that's why hate gave up in the end, because it/frisk finally realized that it would never stand a chance against Chara and Asriels love for one another, Frisk realized they would never have what Chara and Asriel have, not anymore at least.

Hate looked sad because based on its Theme "Reincarnation" and the fact that HATE originally stemmed from Frisk, that was Frisk reincarnated or his hate taking ok the form and general feelings of him.

In my opinion, it seems as the fight went on, Hate became more like Chara from season 1 when they were fully engulfed by Hate, it goes from pink to red, grows legs, uses a red sword (Although the sword they use is much bigger and bulkier) and uses the different powers of different traits like Chara did with their knife.it seemed to also use Sans telekinesis move when it pushed Chara to the ground. And that’s why I think at the end, once it realized it was going to die soon, it chose to accept its death, just like Chara did in season 1. It’s kinda like a mirror of its hosts, and so with its final action, it knew either way it was gone, and that it’s attack likely wouldn’t have killed Chara, since Rave tanked multiple fully infested hate bullets from Ronan, and seeing how fast Asriel got Papyrus and Gaster away, he could’ve quite easily gotten Chara to a medic aswell, but yeah that’s my theory.

They were fighting CHARAS hate, so when it saw that Chara cared about Asriel, there wasn't anymore hate in Chara to be found. Therefore it ceased to exist.
Well, technically it was originally Frisk's hate.
