Roman is Gaster’s father, if I remember correctly. So basically, that was a letter from his father inviting him to spend some time with him so they could catch up.

I wonder what other skeleton fonts exist out there. If Roman is the head of the military then who would the skeleton king be?
A curious fun fact: Gaster is a typography, because of the Windings, like Sans and Papyrus, the father of Gaster is a typography too, Roman, the font "Time New Roman".
The Wizard Council consists of 7 human wizards (who eventually create the barrier after the war) and 3 monsters that are from different Districts:
1. Roy Goldburn
- Justice Wizard and considered the head of the Wizard Council. Uses a bow and arrows. Best friend of Asgore.
2. Shane Goldburn
- Perseverance Wizard. Younger brother of Roy Goldburn. Uses arm blades. Has a heart of gold and an unbreakable spirit.
3. Rin Winterway
- Patience Wizard. Uses strings. Her older sister, Ellie Winterway, used to be in her position on the Wizard Council but stepped down to become the queen of her home, the Pacienco District.
4. Mila Rutrow
- Kindness Wizard. Uses shields/healing. My theory is that she’s the ancestor of Rave, Noah, and Grace, due to her last name.
5. Kody Fallenfire
- Integrity Wizard. Uses platforms/rapier sword. Youngest member to ever be part of the Wizard Council and the only member who comes from a family without royal blood.
6. Copper Lightvale
- Determination Wizard. Uses sword/shield. Killed by his twin sister, Agate right after losing his trait when she killed their younger sister, Amber.
7. Agate Lightvale
-Bravery Wizard. Uses spear/fire. Inverted her soul from Bravery to Fear in order to defeat her brother; she later transfers her consciousness into Amber in order to become the Bete Noire.
8. Asgore Dreemurr
- Goat Boss Monster. Uses trident/fire. Recognized Bete Noire as Agate Lightvale when fighting her in the arena during Season 2.
9. Kanashi Fukitsu
- Fox Monster. Uses purple staff. Bodyguard of Rin and Ellie Winterway. His childhood village, Sylva, was attacked by a mysterious figure and now his only family left is his uncle, Kennari.
10. Wing Din Gaster
- Skeleton Boss Monster. Royal Scientist for humankind and monsterkind. Inherited his Chroma Magic from his father, Roman Gaster, and also inherited his Blaster Magic from his mother, Mistral Gaster.
Camila Cuevas has also introduced the Grey Phantoms, the group opposing them. Each of those characters have comics. There’s also a side story of the prequel season called The Scorned Vigilants which is about another group. All of this is canon and everything that I’ve listed can be read in more detail on the official Glitchtale Wiki. I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.
I leave for one year and it becomes a whole fucking connected universe!
@@lazyatbeinglazy13 yeah, Camila’s world-building has been skyrocketing with the introduction of the prequel season.
So, is it possible that we’ll have other episodes about Copper and Agate?
@@paolocontegiacomo2509 It’s possible, but considering that Camila already made the Black Beast Origins video, I’m not sure if we’ll get more of them until the prequel season actually comes out. Also something to keep in mind: Copper and Agate weren’t part of the original Wizard Council since they were still young at the time.

Yay! I’m glad you watched this! The voice acting caught me off guard, but it makes me even more excited! It’s nice to see Gaster, I can’t wait to find out how he became Gaster in undertale with his scars. And yeah, you’re right about how this is before Undertale. Roman is also Gasters dad! We’ll be meeting his family haha, so hype!!!

the purple dude is shane, roy’s brother, they are both wizards and asgore is really good friends with roy and gaster is really good friends with shane so it’s all correlated between them 4
plus roman is gasters father, the king of kurago, and he wants to train gaster to be powerful enough for war, since gaster is very powerful unlike his few siblings

It's LITERALLY straight up an Anime, i mean what a wonderful creator man
and I hope Jael Penaloza/Jakei will do the same thing in the future.
Here's any lore I know:
The wizard council has Gaster, Kody (one with the integrity), Shane (Perseverance and brother to Roy), Roy (Justice), Asgore, Rin (patience seen in Kakashi's origin animatic), and Mila (Kindness we can also see her in the black beast origin vid)
Kanashi protects Rin and stays with her alot but he isn't a part of the council
Roman is Gaster's father and previous head general for the kingdom Asgore's parents rule over
Most of the council has parental issues, Rin lost both of her parents so now her sister is now ruling for them. Kanashi lost his parents to gas bird but still has his uncle. I would say Gaster's but I think we'll see that soon. Mila doesn't have a mom (maybe im not entirely sure). Roy and Shane lost their mother in some way. Then the only ones with normal families are Kody and Asgore.
Theres two "villan" groups. The Phantoms, started by a corrupt prince, who i have completely forgotten the name of, whose main purpose is to bring equality to the traitless. Then there's the Scorned Viggilanties (taken from the name of the story cause I don't remember an exact team name) who were, in essence, bounty hunters paid by who ever might want a traited person dead. The bounty group has been disbanded by the time the prequel starts but the characters are still around.
If anyone has more to add thats great, cause I just went over the basics for the story
Remembered some more so here we go:
The council building looks like it is where Frisk and Betty first fought
The prequel takes place 1000 years before the story of Undertale and will most likely describe the events that lead up to the monster vs human war
Not lore but me questioning how Kody has the ability to compare Gaster to a hardboiled egg and then proceed to eat said egg without a worry
The seven wizards that you mentioned will most likely not be seen together until the war ( and I mean the council except Asgore and Gaster get replaced by Agate and Copper, who im assuming are teens by the time the war happens)
Kody is the only person in the council who didn't come from a family of royalty or high statis
