Almost all 2650+ Indian players can be supported by Indian IT giants. It will be incredible. Tech Mahindra, Persistent are doing their bit. Hope to see Tata, Infosys, Wipro enter the game.

Vidit has support not just from Persistent, but also from a few other corporates. AICF has lent it's support from time to time and especially for the Candidates to players it has deemed to be deserving. Sponsorship is a privilege, not a right; at least in a country where many many do not make two square meals in a day. And even coming to the same sport, there are many many who've toiled for years without sponsorship. As for a Government that has been constantly 'reinventing' itself to comical extremes, the less said, the better...

Government has no right to give any support to any player they like

It's so inspiring! A corporate leader coming up to support our sports community. This sets a perfect example for uplifting sports in our country.

The realization and honest acceptance of 'being a billionaire by chance' (when it's much more than that) is proof enough that the man is a billionaire by his thoughtfulness alone. पांघरसी जरी असला कपडा, येसी उघडा जासी उघडा...it's the exaltation of character that is the truest celebration of one's existence. While the premier'est' technical education institutes in the country would be rightfully proud of their alumni that lead many of the world's biggest corporations, they should be prouder at least by an inch more of their alumni that create exemplary enterprises in the very land that funds them. Have seen and known too many IITians to be surprised by Anand's modest demeanor, but having a passionate preschool teacher as one's partner is no less a privilege. God bless you and your tribe...

@5:55 - Vishy Anand changed his opening repertoire from 1.e4 to 1.d4 (Mr. Sagar got it reversed). This happened after Anand lost to Kasparov, especially after he was unable to crack Kasparov's Sicilian Dragon.

What a nice session Sagar!. AI of course is real. Anand Deshpande is alerting people of AI and advising them to leverage AI in their domain or else one can easily fall behind. AI skills are must today(not those AI algorithms, but AI as a tool ) Quantum mechanics was the greatest intellectual achievements of 20th century and 21st century will obviously be dominated by AI. Imagine Quantum mechanics and Biotech coming together and we may witness some revolutionary innovations in next decade.
