- The final installment of my Ratchet Soundtrack OST Tier List. Deadlocked is a very fun Ratchet and Clank game to speedrun and to play casual. The reason these songs have a weak or lazy start is because the beginning of the song introduces the stage when the announcers come on and introduce the stage
also i think the weapons carry a lot more punch in this game, and since theyre firing all the time they left space in the mix for it. the drums are way weaker than in previous games

One thing that kind of annoyed me was that somehow he listened to On the Prowl twice, and both times he cut off before the good part. Its so good about 1 30 into it
I doubt it would change his rating tho

loved the teirlist series--so with deadlocked being one of my top 3 rac games, im so hype for this!!
I've been 100%ing the trillogy the past 2 weeks and decided to play Deadlocked as well. Was kind of dreading it since I'm playing on PS streaming, but surprisingly, Deadlocked ended up playing the best on that streaming service, which I REALLY wasn't expecting. I was expecting it to play terribly as the PS3 port is fricked as hell, and the lag would get me killed a bunch.
The game that played the worst for me on PS streaming was GC, where I was going for the hoverbike skill points, and it legit took me 1-2 hours of constant resets because the slightest bit of lag would fuck my driving up to the point where I'd NEED to restart. Normally I'm great at these races, but playing them with lag was a whole different monster 😭
I’m doing that as we speak and I’m also struggling on GC but oh well I love the games so it doesn’t bother me as much. Haven’t played deadlocked or tools in YEARS so I’m loving it

Those lists made me appreciate more of the tracks that I didn't give them that much credit. And appreciating them together on stream was such a moment. Have a great watch everyone for every of them :)
Shoutout to Beau for making Xem do a tier list on the best R&C game’s OST. Also Running the Gauntlet is SS, I will not debate this.
Stygia - Shield Survival is such an bloodpumping track in this game. King of the Leviathans is also really good with Labyrinth of Death.

The optimist in me's knee-jerk reaction was that "Y'know, Xem can see this as an opportunity to see how grounded and comfortable he is with himself compared to what, 11 years old? It's an opportunity to exude indifference to any reactions you receive and to exude inner calm like natures in Pokemon(3rd gen and above) or just laugh at it like a joke and if anyone asks, give 'em a 5 second rundown on your 5 minutes of the runs or narrate out loud. Point is you'll likely never run into 90% of whoever you come across that day again and if you do, their opinions and experience of smelling & witnessing just another 'humans of Wal Mart' moment mean nothing for your current life and how meaningful *THAT* is at this present time and how meaningful where you're going is

@@jonahbrown5669 i could've clarified that after edit I would love to see it on the main channel. I know about this whole algoritm bs. But he is not uploading anything lately anyway. My point is, why not fill the void with easy to make and watchable content? That seems pretty stupid.
IMO this OST is weak because of the mix. It sounds like every song has a high pass filter on it so you hear only the high end of the instrument. RAC 1, 2 and 3 had better mixing than this.
And the transitions... god why. Every song it feels like there is a change every 4 bars where it's not necessary at all.
hi Xem I've been watching your videos for about two/three years if I'm not mistaken and I remember many times when you spoke or replied to comments in Italian. although it's not easy for an English-speaker to learn the Italian language, I have to congratulate you, your pronunciation is very good (you can trust me, I'm Italian), especially when you sing (I remember nessun dorma).
