Im kinda worried looking at that short cushing on headband with stinger2. Next to it (on the sides) is thick plastic. Do you touch it with head, is it uncomfortable?
Great review as always... I'm wondering if you're gonna do review on Logitech headsets in the future if possible because i am looking for budget Logitech Headset with decent sound for gaming and i would love to hear your review before buying one.
Maybe. I reviewed the Logitech G Pro X and I didn't like the sound at all. If that's their flagship headset, I don't know if there's much hope for their budget models.

So I game on console and noticed you'd said that DTS wasn't too good. For console and online gaming, is it better to use stereo and stay away from Dolby and DTS for sound? Unless watching a show or movie?

Hey man, by any chance do you know why the stinger core causes to leak all output audio onto the mic? (Returned the headset and got a brand new one with the same issue still occuring
Good chance it's just the volume coming out of the earcups being so loud that the mic picks it up. Just a physical limitation.
The cloud core has 2 models one 5 year old stock model and new updated 7.1 surround model, you are talking about which model that beats cloud stinger 2 and cloud stinger?

if i want to buy a headphone for overall use like music, gaming, movies etc... then which one should i choose?? stringer 1, stringer 1 core, stringer 2, stringer 2 core??? budget is tight cant get cloud core...

Is therefore any chance that you review revised cloud 2s from last year? They say it's worse than the old cloud 2s.

Is it much better than the cloud cores? I live in brazil, and stinger 2 is arround 170 R$ and the cloud cores are 250R$ is it worth to pay this diference for the cores? Ou not?
It's that that big of a difference. At those prices, just get the Stinger 2 since it's cheaper. Still really comfortable and good sound.
What do i get razer kraken x or razer black shark v2x or the hyperx cloud stinger 2?

I appreciate that, but I have another question if you don’t mind, regardless of the sound quality and microphone, is the HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 more comfortable to use than the others you mentioned, because besides playing video games, I want to watch anime and movies, so I might prefer something more comfortable.
@@immjhool Yeah the Cloud Stinger 2 is super comfortable and it even has swivel if you need it. It's very close to the Cloud II.

I've been looking for a new headset for quite a while, but many reviewers generally end up recommending the latest gear they review, so the decision to pick one becomes overwhelming.
Recently I found your blog and then your channel. I really love how much work you put into your videos, explanations are pretty detailed and you cover A LOT of aspects on each review.
Another BIG PLUS is your consistency with previous reviews. The fact that you always compare the currently reviewed headset with past ones gives a direct point of reference and doesn't get me lost after seeing several reviews (making me going back to see the same video over again). You remain true to yourself and to us.
Now thanks to you I was able to narrow down my options for getting a headset, which are the Penrose (if found at discount cause don't have $300 for a headset) and the Drop + EPOS PC38X. Main use for it will be gaming, specially Warzone/FPS games. So I would like to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! You have teach me a lot. I'll wait for Prime Days (October 11 and 12) to finally make the purchase.

Good question, I didn't even realize there was a Stinger 2 Core until now.
Just get the HyperX Cloud 2. Waste of money getting the Stinger. Only just because of DTS Spatial Audio.
