Man, you make awsome videos, you can explain everything to someone even if they dont know anything about cars
Great content. My brother and I stayed up late last night binging on your videos bro. You earn some subscribers.💯💪🏾👍🏾
Straight to the point on information delivery.
Found the channel not long ago and am so glad I did!
Man I'm in love with your videos, honestly. Keep up the great content, I hope you maintain your upload rate
Absolutely brother. More greatness to come!
Your channel has the best explanation and easy to understand 😊
Another well detailed video, thank you!
Really good comparison of the three you selected
Thank you so much! ❤ I'm new to cars and your channel is very helpful !!!!! Greetings from Bulgaria
:)
I've been watching a handful of your content and i must say, your doing a fantastic job, you def deserve more views!
Good Morning Brother, Are you able to make a video explaining short term and long term fuel trim, how it works and how to use it for diagnosing vehicles?
Awesome videos. I'm only a weekend warrior myself, but always looking to learn more. I like how you explain so much in your videos. You do an exceptional job. Thanks for doing what you do. You're awesome.
Hey buddy I purchased the thinktool max. Definitely gives u a great deal of data and info but I'm having trouble interpreting some of this data in regards to diagnostics. Could u please consider making a diagnostic video using it. Thank you!!
Just found your channel and can't stop watching. Learned a lot. Thanks.
Happy to have you brother
Making great videos man! Keep on going
Really enjoy the content. thanks
Wow! Great job on the video man! I have been working on cars for 50 years and am getting lost by all the electronics. I am learning a bunch and catching up a bit. I bought the Innova 5210 and like/agree with your assessment of it. Once again, great job and keep it up!!!
Is it worth it
@@KaraForreal I'm happy with the value of it. If I were to buy again, knowing what I know now, I would upgrade to the next level of this brand. Maybe even 2 levels up. But overall, I'm happy with the one I have. It has led me to every issue so far. And being able to "clear" the codes is super helpful.
This is awesome. The higher the tool price the more I wanna buy the best one. Maybe the $100 will do for now
I have two mid level priced scanners and so far they do what I need to diagnose issues with my cars. I use them mostly to check if my car will pass smog before spending money and time at smog station.
Hi buddy, I have a quick question about scanners and was wondering if you could help? The scanners in your video, do they need special softwares to read the car its plugged into? Or does it have options already installed?
Wow I love that 3rd one 😍
Sir huge fan of yours
Tumbalo a mamadas
Amazing contents once again ✅💯
Innova scanners are nice. I have a higher end one. Made in the US too!
Great video, Thank you!
Will the standard range button when you are looking at a module give you the spec of what it is supposed to be?
Also, would I be able to test NOx sensors on diesels, injectors and turbo actuator tests?
Thanks
I haven't tried any turbo diagnosis on this scanner. And in terms of spec it does let you know if it's withen standard range. But obviously when you have a boost leak for example your numbers will be everywhere on multiple readings.
Good line up for beginners to pros... 👍
That was the goal!!
just what I wanted to know, thanks!
I typically have a $40 one. Works like it should.
Very helpful, thanks, Buddy. I guess we'll get a little ambitious and try the "weekend warrior" $100 scanner.
Right..way better..scanner.
Question: With the cheapest obd reader: can you also erease airbag codes? I have a Mercedes SLK 2009 with an airbag waring popping up. 1 replaced it and the warning light is still on.
Awesome content. Thank you.
im curious if u can do that as well in THINKCAR THINKSCAN Max 2 with the camera led?
Great content, good job
The vw beetle in a good condition is a gold Mine, you should get one in the next vídeo!
Will these scanners work for 7.3 PSD? Buzz test etc.
What brand is the red one that one seems like its super helpful
Love your vids ❤
Can you do a power balance test with the innova 5210
Do you know any good scanners for vehicles that are 1994 and older because as you might know they have a weird connectors
thanks your good,keep it up!
can any of those perform a (forced purge) on a DPF...?
Does the expensive tool come with the camera attachment
what's a good one to test heated seats
Another great video
Appreciate you💪
@@BuddysDIY np problem bro I bought the budget scan tool u had a video a while back for like 30 something and I works great
Do you know about the carly obd? It costs 150€ i think and connects to your phone
Does the 500$ reader do abs for ALL models? I thought I read it only does abs for some models not all
Hi buddy do you recomend the innova 6030 scaner ?
Gonna become a full time mechanic. I have a nice discount on Snap-on rn what one should I get??
Can the 500 dollar scanner relearn a crankshaft position sensor on a 2016 Honda Accord?
Do any of these let me relearn the CKP I keep throwin code P0315 in my 08 Dodge Avenger 2.4L my basic little scanner won’t do it.
Who came here just to check for any more car flipping vids We love you flipping videos.
More to come
Yep I def assure that
Will that last reader program keys?
Wow that’s nice
What about Bluetooth code readers like BlueDriver, u should make a video on them
what about the blue driver that chrisfix uses
does anyone know if they make one that will let you turn off the factory security system in gm vehicles that fails very often and leaves people stranded or spending hundred or more trying to replace parts in an attempt to get back running
Will the $100 scanner let you know if your torque convertor is bad??
Does the $500 scanner have obd1 attachments?
I have an Opel Zafira 2011 model, Diesel. Let me ask all of you if I can use a high end OSD to connect it at my car via Bluetooth.
I need any opinions about autel maxiap 200
Please help! I have a 2011 535ix N55 F10. I bought a Foxwell NT510 scanner and it is unable to reset the service due and the oil change alert. I want a new scanner that will do this but don’t want to waste any more money. Any advice? Thanks
Do you prefer think tool mini or cr max
Good afternoon,
I recently installed cruise control on my 2021 Isuzu D-Max 1.9L standard model and I need a device that can program or activate it. I've tried using an OBD2 ELM327 WiFi and ELM327 HS LS USB for scanning, but they can't seem to recognize my Isuzu D-Max. Now I'm considering purchasing a dedicated device or using the TOAD program or should I buy IDSS . Could you please recommend the best option?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Tell me do you think
Can you program keys? Adjust shift firmness? Change fuel maps? (Thief stole one of my cats)? With the $100 dollar one or Dino need the $500 dollar one? Thanks Mike
None of that
Hey buddy appreciate the video, do any of these scanners report live data? I want be able to use one to determine if the odometer has been rolled back or not
The 450 dollar one reports live data for all functions
My $20 one does
Which one can rest the seatbelts and airbags
Can the high-end scanner run a diagnostic just on the ECM functionality?
And what kind of scanner would you recommend for a pre-1996 vehicle that has OBD-1 capability or are these scanners backward compatible?
Will the $100 scanner work on a 99 mercedes R129 Sl500
So to ur experience wich one do u suggest us to buy ???
I use the Innova when I go check out a car. But the big fancy thinktool is the move if you want to really get into fixing cars as a side or full-time gig
Hey the second scanner will it tell me if a spark plug is miss firing or with cylinder
Yes!
I've never seen anyone make a video on this before. Props
There are thousands of videos on this subject
How do you program keys
The 500$ scanner not popping up on Amazon. What brand is it
What about ones like FIXD that use bluetooth to a cell phone?
Will this program key fobs
Which one of these is best to pinpoint an actual sensor? I'm tired of getting these generic codes. I have a 2005 X3 BMW with P0171 and P0174. I've replaced the Oxygen Sensors, but it came right back on. I just hate having to guess at which sensors are bad. There are no known vacuum leaks either... So all I want is a scanner that says it's this sensor that is bad, so I don't have to guess at which 5 sensors it could be. Which one do you think will be best??
I am looking for one also have you had any luck David?
Idk if you are still having those issues with your car but idk why you would replace an o2 sensor bc of those codes, usually you only need to change an o2 if you get a code for them. Those codes are bank 1 and bank 2 going lean which could mean a number of problems but none of which you would really be able to find out by hooking a scanner up to it. Theres a ton of places you could be getting a vacuum leak from expecially on a bmw so that could range from a hose being cracked or your throttle body or intake manifold gasket leaking. The other way is that you could not be getting enough fuel from either a weak fuel pump or clogged injectors. You can hook up a fuel pressure gauge to see if your fuel pump is giving the correct amount of pressure but that doesnt rule out the injectors being clogged
Nice video
Quick question sir. Do i need to pay for every car model i need to use the Thinktool mini? Thank you in advance.
No
What's the name of the las scanner ??
Is there a relatively cheap scan tool you can recommend that can read transmissions? I know there are some that can read if a torque converter is going out, but I'm hesitant to drop $1k on something I'll rarely use.
What kind of car?
@deerhunter8533 I have a 2017 Chevy SS and would like a scanner that could tell me if it was my torque convertor..Thanks for any help!!
Unless you are a shop or professional mechanic the cheaper OBDII scanners are the best choice.
Im a new sub.
Can I use it will the car is moving
That $500 scanner is definitely worth it
Good job Budy man! Are u in SE Fl?
Im in Melbourne homie
@@BuddysDIY coll man, I'm Hollywood.
Keep doing what you doing
You gonna get far, people like you videos ! Also do Autorepairs and simple stuff that people look to learn from you.
I'll buy you a coffe on my way through Melbourne.
Is the 6100p better then 5210 innova
I just ordered the Autel MD806 Pro, what are your thoughts on that scanner? Worth the cost?
Nice choice
O actually use the blue drive obd2 it's a Bluetooth obd reader and the I use it's app never really had a full one just used
The Bluetooth ones
Good video.
But ABS is not Analog Braking System.
On the 100 dollar one, I read that it’s only compatible with one VIN number and then you have to purchase keys to scan for other? Is this true? Would be a huge con if trying to scan multiple vehicles for flipping
No sir. It's plug and Play
@@BuddysDIY nice just ordered one, thanks for the vids man. Very informative
@@AG-rr3qd hi did you follow through with your order? heard the same thing wonder if you are limited
@@AG-rr3qd how does it work ? Any update ?
@@vytautaskryzius2556 it’s worth it, it gives as many reads as you need. The part where I read it would only release 1 VIN numbers information was wildly inaccurate. It’s a great tool!!
Can the Innova work on Japanese vehicles
I use the Blue Driver which is a pretty dope OBDll scan tool
I personally have t had much luck w those phone scanners
@@BuddysDIY Blue Driver is the only good phone scanner that I know, but also has it price.
Phone OBD2 scanners are junk. They don't work with abs or srs or electric park brake resets universally, most phone obd2 don't even offer the srs reset some offer it to a few cars later releases .
A good scanner should be able to easily plug in and be able to read any car that pulls up. Phone scanners are a good start for someone who is looking to read CEL (check engine lights) and it is better than nothing if it works for your car, I had torque mobile phone obd2 and this one allowed me to check or clear check engine light also told me 0-60mph times if I wanted to do some pulls. Also told me boost and vacuum levels for my turbocharged engine
Iv had a few brands Of mobile phone obd2 I tested them some worked on certain brands some cars just didn't allow it.
With the icarsoft scanner I bought I can plug into any OBD2 vehicle it communicates fast does the job. I work on all my family's vehicles mechanical electrical body and fabrication. I do anything I need to do and Iv saved my family well over 150k.
The processing power of modern smart phones is easily double that of the high end scanners. The fact EVERYONE is after easy money these days is the only reason there is no open source obd code. I'm more than sure someone somewhere would have written an app that works better than a scanner but can't release it due to legality.
@@siiioxide7807 Checkout AndrOBT it is open source as far as I know, playstore and github
Why the emission test says not available?
can you flip cars without the fixing part ? cause i dont know anything about fixing cars.
The idea is to get a car for cheap to fix it's issues. Then you will get profit from fixing it yourself.
You don't want to spend more or close to what the car would sell for.
I was looking at the "think" line of devices and their website says it can program keys. I didn't see that option on your tool. Does it have that option? I'm kinda doubting it
If you listen, at 12:50 he says it can program keys
He programmed the jeep key with it in another video
For 500 that's a hell of a tool
Can you send me the link of an $500 Obd Reader
👍🏻information
Can the 500 scanner reprogram throttles ???
Yes I have it
